Smith and Wesson 686 Deluxe .357 Magnum 6u201d Revolver – 150712

This gun is incredible. It shoots unbelievably smooth. I concur with all the positive things said in the other reviews. If you’re on the fence about buying this gun you need to go ahead and get. You won’t be disappointed. The purchase transaction was quick and easy, and I received the gun in less than a week. My only issue was there was a small scratch on the end of the barrel. I should have checked it better before I signed the transfer. Still very happy with my purchase as the gun is top notch and the price was great.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I ordered online on saturday, and it was in store ready for pickup on wednesday afternoon. The revolver feels And looks amazing with the wood grips. The color of the grips are more of a redwood color than the Lighter color shown in the pictUre. I am very Happy about that.

The deluxe is beautiful. I've been waiting to get this revolver for a few years. Took it to the range and it fired flawlessly.

I have a 686 + 4" that my daughter decided she needed, so i went for the 6" with wood stocks this go around. so far I am very pleased with the fit and finish of the gun as well as the trigger. it is very similar to my previous one in both double action as well as single action during dry fire exercises. I've only taken it to the range once, but it handled 38 special with no problems, and the recoil on 357 magnum was more manageable with the 6" with wooden stocks vs the 4" with rubber stocks. accuracy of the gun is better than the shooter.

Accurate and fun to shoot. Havent shot a revolver in years until i finally got this one. Ive put over a hundred rounds of 38 special and 357 through it in the last month and honestly would shoot more if it wasnt so hard to find ammo. Dead on target for sure. The single action trigger is something to get used to if coming from a polymer style pistOl. Its light. I wanted the new pYthon, but due to price and availAbility i bought this. Glad i did. Half the price, and shoots like a dream.

This right here is the very first gun I have owned, I would've went with a 9mm but this right here caught my eye! How can it now! Its honestly the most beautiful gun I've seen in my life, I was very surprised how big it is but just adds to it. If you are thinking of buying a revolver and have the cash for this particular one and looking at it dont think about it! Just buy it! You will not regret it. I like this gun very good looking and accurate. The wooden grip was a little bit hard on a hand in the rapid shooting but still good looking. Had to adjust rear sight way to the right to make it accurate with 357.

A gun I’ve wanted for a long time - add to collection. Excellent handling weight and balance. Looks nice as well. Will be testing it out soon - once I get ammo. Surprised it came with smudges/lack luster from S&W??

Great looking firearm with good balance. I did change out the rubber grips that came with it for a beautiful handmade set of rosewood checkered grips. Now for the bad news. The first time I took the pistol too the range I loaded up 7 357 mag loads and fired it . The trigger pull was smooth to the breakover point and recoil was low due to the weight of the pistol however after three shots the cylinder locked up and would not rotate, I opened the cylinder and it spun freely so I reloaded

Very accurate. Shoots tight groups. Fit and finish is OK. The grip it came with is not a tight fit at the top on both sides. The hammer is heavy to pull when shooting single action. And, while shooting double action the trigger is also heavy. Will end up doing a trigger job eventually. Overall, great revolver that is priced right.

Very good revolver only thing which I saw not that it got a chip dent on the frame inside upper where the cylinder goes in otherwise it's a good buy ACCURATE Quality control is not good enough as expected from smith & Wesson Finish

This was my dream gun and I am so glad to be an owner of one. It is everything I expected it to be and more. I replaced the wood grips with some S&W rubber grips I got online. It is heavy, but that makes it stable and more accurate... much more accurate than my Beretta PX4 Storm full. I took it to the range twice and have put 50 rounds of .357 and .38 special reloads through it. For some reason, after shooting the 686 Plus, my shooting with the PX4 got more accurate. I keep it as

Looks even better in person. Very accurate and got a really good trigger out of the box. Very manageable even with heavy magnum loads, glad I got the 6”. The woodgrip is beautiful, but beware if you shoot a bunch of magnum rounds in one session the grip does bite a bit into the skin of your palm. Getting a rubber grip for those long range session.

It looks and feels good. I haven’t had the opportunity to fire it yet but I’m sure it shoots great. Beautiful revolver????

5 Stars with the exception that it didn't have the grips I wanted. But that's been taken care of already, I ordered the Rosewood Grips 2 days after I picked it up from my FFL Dealer. This is the Ultimate Pistol in my Collection, Classic Stainless Beauty, Awsome accuracy right out of the box and the envy of all my Friends. This is a must have for every avid Shooter. The feel, the handling, and the Power are overwhelming when you squeeze that trigger for the first time. This is a replacement for one that was stolen from me years ago. It won't happen again.

I’m sure it’s a good gun it sits real nice in the gun safe. I believe that it will bring my sexiness to a whole new level. I’m not quite sure who has a faster draw me or the reflection of me in the bathroom mirror. Who am I kidding I’m much faster! How do I know this because I shoot the mirror before it shoots me back!

I have a Ruger GP100 .357 4" Barrel which is a great gun. I always wanted a 6" barrel .357 and decided on this 7 round 686 and I'm so glad I picked this one up. Shoots really smooth with excellent trigger pull in single and double action. I put the Rubber Hogue Grips on it which works great. The wood grips are nice just decided to keep the stock wood grips in pristine shape for now. Love this revolver !!
