I ordered my Rifle on 2-5-23 received it on 2-8-23 very fast shipping. I am impressed with the workmanship, it's light weight to handle. Only issue I have with it is the Bolt handle is hard to get to in order to charge a round into the receiver. I still have not fired it just yet and need to order the Ammo for it. Other than that it's a nice Rifle...Read More Read more about review stating My Smith & Wesson Rifle

Just what the Dr. ordered! Straight out of the box it worked well, no fail to feeds or stove pipes. It is an economical easy to shoot defense piece using commonly available ammunition. That's just what I wanted and that's just what I got. Just one problem; the ejection port cover would not close. I made a call to S&W was immediately asked that I send the rifle back pre-paid postage or if I was agreeable they would send me a new door. The new door arrived in a few days. S&W is a first rate co. who makes a first rate product.

I really enjoy this AR. I’m new to the gun-game, so I wanted a reasonably-priced, familiar brand to start with. Palmetto State Armory delivered! I really appreciate the service, and fair prices y’all offer!

This is an awesome gun I shot about 1000 rounds through it. Only had a problem once and that was because I had junk practice ammo. My wife loves shooting it. I’m buying one for her.

I am relatively inexperienced and this was my first semi-auto rifle. The manual says to “lightly oil”. I took this to the range and it jammed feeding the second cartridge, managed to clear that, fired #3 then jammed again on #4. Fortunately there was someone very experienced with the AR that cleared it, field stripped and properly lubricated everything. Once the buffer spring and tube were greased and BCG was wet with oil it ran like a champ. Maybe after a few hundred rounds “lightly oiled”

Thanks Palmetto for offering another quality S&W product. I purchased my first M&P 15 Sport II about 6 months ago. I also purchased the same for my son. I've been able to cycle several different brands of both 5.56 and .223 rounds. So far, nothing has jammed or caused any firing issues. I'm finding that keeping the weapon semi-wet is working quite well. I highly recommend this rifle. Priced right and performs!

Terrible. First day shooting at the range it kept misfeeding. Took it to a gunsmith who sent it to Smith and Wesson for repair. It’s been almost a month.

I was in the army back in the mid 80,s and hadn’t owned a gun since. I did alot of online research and it came down to this or the Ruger in this entry level price range . I have shot this only 1 time so far about a 100 rounds but I could not be happier with it. I’m pretty sure from what reviews I read that they are all correct buy either this or the Ruger for the best price you could find. I do not plan on putting thousands of rounds down range a year so I am sure this gun will be just fine for me .

The AR shoots great, no problems. Have it sighted in at 60 yards. Red/green dot sights great in sunlight even at 60 yards

While this was my first AR purchase, I would say the rifle has exceeded my expectations and the sight is spot on. Everything that I expected from S&W.

The weapon itself was as advertised. Unfortunately, I live in a state with magazine restrictions. I wish Palmetto would have at least sent one or two 10 round magazines. As it was, they sent it without any magazines.

Decent firearm. Had a few finish imperfections and small scuffs in the anodizing. Took forever to get to my ffl dealer, 2.5 weeks. Put some iron sights on it. Took off the crappy rattle trap stock and threw a $40 Magpul CTR on, big improvement. Probably buy a Holosun 510c to throw on it in a year or two. Overall happy with the experience. Have not had good enough weather to shoot it yet.
