I owned this in 9mm, but sold it to get the 40 cal. Both are smooth shooters and great guns to own. The ability to change the size of the backstrap is a huge bonus.

Great pistol. Very reliable...check out the MAC torture test on YouTube. I have ~500 rounds through mine. I find it reliable, accurate and fun. Practical accuracy or speed of making hits on action targets is great. Slow fire bullseye accuracy is average....maybe I just need more trigger time. The fde finish looks nice and wears well so far. The gun has nice weight and size. It is too thick for ccw, but otherwise well balanced. It has a very nice grip texture. Also, the sights are some of the best stock sights.

I ordered this gun on Tuesday at 3:58 pm. Less than an hour later I got a shipping confirmation. Less than 20 hours later the person I chose to do the transfer called me. I’m in Tennessee! By car, that’s 865 miles away! This is like this every time I buy from GAG! That’s why I love buying from them. Now to the gun review. Beautiful gun, love the 2.0 changes. Really love the FDE finish! Trigger seams nice. Good grip. Disappointed that it came in a cardboard box. Common S&W! I will be shooting it this weekend. I’m sure I will not be disappointed.

This gun is everything I expected it would be. Grabagun delivered perfectly on time, and I'm completely satisfied with this company. I will buy from Grabagun again. Right out of the box the gun was ready to go, after inspecting and oiling it shot great. I love the different palms swells you can put on it and I found a medium large fits me perfect. What can the say I love everything about this gun including the price.

These are just pretty rock solid guns. Feed well, cheap mags (compared to some other brands that require $45), lots of capacity. Not in love with the trigger, but I can replace that later if I need. the 5" handles the 40 pretty well.

I love the m&p series of pistols! And this one is no different! Great pistol! I put a apex trigger and a streamlight tlr-h1. Works great!

I bought this pistol as a back up to my concealed carry Beretta Px4 full size storm .40 cal after the recoil spring rod busted in it. Now, I'm torn. This bad boy is about to bump the Storm for first place. Never would have imagined. The M&P is the most accurate and easy to fire pistol. And the recoil spring rod is all metal. If i'm going to be in a gunfight, i need for my weapon of choice to show up. Fits my hands very well. Just bought my wife the compact version in a 9 mm. locked and loaded at my house.

great gun, i've put 300 rounds through it now with zero issues. has the same recoil as a 9mm with the 5 inch barrel. Its a great looking gun too.

I have large hands so I love the full size pistols. I don't like the trigger pull as it comes from factory; it pulls too far for me. My other pistols pull very light; this one I'm pulling to the left because I'm left handed. I understand this can be fixed though. Once trigger is fixed it will be great. Love the interchangeable grips it comes with too. Great gun for the price. Four stars because of trigger issue or would be five stars.

Smith and Wesson quality one would expect. Operates flawlessly clip after clip. This is my second M&P40 but wanted the manual safety on this one. Excellent feel and accuracy. Highly recommend
