Smith and Wesson M&P45 M2.0 Flat Dark Earth .45ACP 4.6-inch TFX Sights

I had a couple of the original M&P's, and installed Apex parts to try to bring them up to speed. Those have all gone to new homes, and been replaced with 2.0's. Great trigger reset, texturing, and I like FDE! Highly recommended.

The take up on the trigger is a little gritty, but everything else is very good. I only have one hundred and fifty rounds through, so far. Perfectly reliable. Clean crisp break with short reset.

I put my first 100 rounds down range with my new M&P45 Auto today alongside of 100 rounds with my father-in-law’s glock 19. Truly my unbiased opinion is that the M&P was more comfortable to hold. We both liked the trigger better, and we both shot more accurately with the M&P. This is the first handgun in at least a decade or two that I think is better than Glock. Performance wise, the M&P did not disappoint. For caliber, it eats recoil very well. The sights lived up to the hype, they really draw the eye in. Hammering targets with a Fiocchi 230 grain ball was pure joy with the M&P. For a striker-fired gun, the trigger is pretty clean. This M&P was a plenty accurate pistol due to ergonomics, grip texture and trigger.

Shoots great, have to try to miss target, fits great in the hand, awesome gun. My go to 45, my 1911 GI is now kept in the safe for family pass down

im a sucker for fde's especially one in a 45 acp it just happened to be in a S&W M&P 45, grip is amazing and night sight included, youre never wrong with this one. a joy to shoot.

Hit a bullseye with the very first shot! Keeps all 10 rounds in 3 inch group. Very comfortable to shoot. Extremely pleased. Grab a gun priCe was amaziNg.

Gun out of the bOx is amazing and a awesome shooter. Put a PL-MINI 2 Valkyrie under it,600 lumens and works PERFECT!

One of the best firearms I own, and I own nearly all are high quality dogs and glock, but this is a tack driver out the box. Great 45 and great trigger.

AweSome pistol. Sites are fast to pickup. Recoil is shockingly light for a polymer 45. Very accurate. I shoot glocks very well but the grip is not ideal, the m&p 2.0 is far superior. My poor G35 may well be kicked out of nightstand duty now...

I "chased" this for about 10 months, maybe longer. These are really well designed weapons and they shoot well. I'm guessing S&W was focusing on their "Shield" series-couldn't find one of these -anywhere-. I got a few "bad" leads (websites that were showing weapons that hadn't been in stock in months). Finally got an alert from GaG. VERY happy! Easily transferred, no problems, just took it out recently for a range day. Well worth the wait!

I've never felt a trigger right out of the box that was worse than this one (GRITTY). I'm fairly certain each one of these is fired at least once before they leave the factory so i'm stunned that sombody shot this and decided it was "good to go". I don't want to fix this myself (lots of videos on internet), and I DON'T WANT THE HASSLE OF SHIPPING IT BACK SO I JUST SPENT $165.00 ON AN APEX TRIGGER. I LIKE THE GUN BUT I GUESS I EXPECTED SOMETHING THAT WAS FLAWLESS.....HOPEFULL, ONCE THE APEX IS INSTALLED I CAN SAY IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!

Really like this gun. I understand why the trigger is what it is for law enforcement requirements however I replaced mine with an Apex trigger from Midway. With the upgrade, the gun is perfect for my wants. Yes--reliable too and fun to shoot! I've had a Glock. My preference is easily the M2 Smith and Wesson--no contest. Glock die-hard fans would be wise to take off the blinders and try what's new.

Outstanding pistol!! Shoots great, very accurate, and I really like the grip inserts. I would definately buy again.

This feels like a solid update to the M&P models that I have always enjoyed shooting. The grip is much better, and the fact that it comes with other sizes is great. It shoots just as well as any other Smith and Wesson I have owned. I got this model for bear protection and just fun shooting, can’t wait to use it for years to come.

The grip has a very rough texture which really locks in you palm much better than the original series of this pistol. Performs with the typical S & W reliability, and Palmetto Arms was a very easy and quick transaction. Overall I am very satisfied on all levels.
