I had some suspicions before i made the purchase but bought it anyways. In many of the online pictures and videos the gun looks a little greenish as opposed to fde. With the pistol i recieved the backstraps don't match the rest of the frame and slide, they are a shade greener then the rest of the firearm. The truglow sights are a bit disappointing. The green rear sights seem bright enough in light or dark environments but the front green fiber seems to be dulled or diluted by the white ring arou... Read more

Honestly it’s an amazing pistol and I enjoy it very much, the only thing that I would change is the trigger because I don’t like plastic triggers and have the ambidextrous slide release for left handled shooters is very stiff and almost not worth practicing with it. Other than that it’s a very accurate gun if you practice the right fundamentals (like with any weapon) and I’ve never had a malfunction with it after putting 500+ rounds in it. I give it a 4.5/5

Excellent grip texture. Improved trigger over my Gen I M&P. Best part is the sights. Easy to see in all lighting conditions I have giant hands, so the changable backstraps are nice too.

Sights were off from factory, but that isn't surprising. Night sights are great. Can't beat the price!

While there are some sight alignment issue than need to be addressed, the pistol itself is superb, trigger and action are smooth. The magazine catch decent does prevent auto forward when you insert a fresh magazine, it can be realeased by pulling the slide and forwarding into battery. Kind of torn between the 2.0 9mm and Gen 1 PRO Core model. I’m glad I went with the 2.0.

Love the M&P Pistol. Very reliable have only put about 500 rounds through it but no feed problems. Trigger is greatly improved over first Generation. Highly recommend

Solid firearm, grip angle is perfect in my opinion. Sights are really nice but needed a slight adjustment. Nothing major by any means. The trigger breaks smooth and clean, decent reset as well. I'd recommend this firearm to a new shooter or someone who has been shooting for awhile. Definitely a step up from the last M&P series.

Maybe its the great sights or the smooth tiger or the overall ergonomics. All I know is that right out of the box I hit everything I aimed at.

This is simply the most ergonomic pistol I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. I've never shot the same hole so many times. The night sights work great. I wish I had tried the m&p sooner. Ergonomic, accurate, dependable.

Great Pistol! Easy to reach magazine release. Fits my hand perfectly and the texture holds your grip thru recoil. Feeds and extracts without error. Drops spent magazines immediately. Slide locks back on empty without fail, always! Accurate and easy to control with a proper grip. This model has the new Fiber/tritium light Night Sights, hence the higher price. They work excellent for a night situations. You can plainly see this in a dark room and know where it lays. That said it has One Negative … Read More

I fell in love with this gun when I picked it up for the first time. It fits perfectly in your hand and is very well balanced. The take down is easy as is the cleaning process. The trigger travel is long and the trigger break is not as predictable as I have seen in other guns. This makes it a little harder to get used to shooting it accurately and consistently.

I have the ported barrel model which reduces recoil a bit more, but the non-ported model shown here is best used in close quarter targets and shooting from the hip if need be. The balance is wonderful, the gun is light in weight which is surprising and it has never jammed no matter which 9mm ammo I have tried so far. You can't go wrong with a Smith & Wesson gun and it is made in the USA with high quality components. Buy one! JamesRussellPublishing.com

I loved this gun. Was my first 9mm it is amazing. Jammed once when it was new. That was it. It doesn't care about rounds..it just shoots.

Bought my son an M&P 9MM, never had any issues with this pistol. S&W has been getting it right for a long time.

No surprises. Legendary quality, fit and finish of Smith and Wesson’s M&P line. Comes in a nice hard case with foam inserts, an extra mag and three additional grips to customize hand fit. Perfect size for OWB carry. Solid performer. TRUGLOW-TFX sites are a nice included upgrade from 3 DOT especially if using for low light conditions.
