I love the engraving on this firearm. I added a magwell and changed grips to fit flush with the magwell. I also changed the sights out to tritium night sights. I like the feel of a full steel gun. The balance is great and this 1911 is a soft shooter and very accurate. I was able to get 4” 8 shot groups at 7yards with little effort. I would highly recommend this firearm.

I have quite a few 1911's and this is definitely one of my favorites now. Comes with the S&W blue box and a wood presentation box. Grab A Gun definitely had the best price and the service was excellent. I will do more business with them for sure.

It's kind of light for a 1911. That being said the full guide rod makes the difference great shooter. The full rod makes cleaning it a hassle but overtime it becomes easier. I'm very happy with my purchase comes with a nice sw box well insulated show case.

As an avid collector of Smith and Wesson products.I was extremely impressed with the quality and craftsmanship with this 1911. When I took the new gun out to the range I was further impressed with the accuracy and flawless operation utilizing various loads, after firing 250 rounds the gun operated flawlessly with no malfunctions. I would suggest anyone looking for a 1911 the Smith and Wesson 1911 E is a sound choice.

Since I got mine, which was Fast ! Grabagun got it out and to Me quickly! I have put several hundred rounds of all kinds of ammo through it. I worked Flawlessly! Any 1911 that will feed and cycle 185 grain semi wadcutters is awesome. The gun in insanely accurate! Very happy with my purchase! My Presentation Case is Mahogany. I Like it better than Walnut, so no complaints!

It is a handsome firearm, that is well made and past the rattle test. The wooden presentation case it comes in is also a nice touch. I did however thought it was more of a polished finish by the pictures, not a deal breaker though. Sharp looking gun especially for the price. I would recommend this firearm.

First off the gun got from Texas to New York in two days. Thats some fast delivery ! The engraving is not as pronounced as shown on Smith & Wessons website ( stock photo). The grip does not fad from black to rose wood as shown. It's all rose wood. I shot it, it went bang ! As a photagrapher I quickly realized the stock photo was enhanced is I took a picture of it and did the same ! Thanks for the top notch service, second pistol I bought from you this month !

Beautiful 1911. Nice tight/smooth fit between slide and frame. A real tack driver even out to 25 yards. Only reason I dinged it a star is because it was filled everywhere with metal dust (most likely wasn’t cleaned after engraving) and made everything gritty. Had to nearly break down every part to clean it all out. After a good cleaning, and a little lube it is a super smooth piece. I currently carry it and I couldn’t be happier. But again, break it down and clean everything out before you shoot it.

It's very stable and shoots great. It has less kick than my 9mm Sig. I love it. And it looks sweet too.

Very nice. Engraving just sets it off. Pistol functions are smooth with a good fit. Had to order more ammunition to be able to enjoy it more. Ammo is sure hard to find these days and expensive when you do. Thank you and S&W.

Beautiful gun. Picture shows it was made in Houston, ME. But the one I got was from Springfield, MA. The wooded box display is a nice touch.

at first it was too stiff after 100 rounds it’s as smooth as butter make sure to clean and lube er up so it keeps performing great

This pistol is little heavier than I thought. The weight I can stand. The beauty of the gun itself makes up for the weight! It is absolutely gorgeous with the engraving on it. Shoots straight and true right out of the box. The presentation case is s plus, it is also perfect for showing of your stunning pistol. There are no negative points other than the ammunition is hard to find at the present time. Great Firearm.
