Great gun for a great price! S&W revolvers are the best made revolvers in my opinion and this 686 plus 7 round is a perfect home defense gun.

Great gun and great feel. Plenty of power with a manageable recoil. Great for everyday carry but it will be bulky if used for concealment unless it's worn with a large coat. Overall it's a great gun.

Nice L-frame revolver with good weight feel and balance. The grips fit my hand very well. The recoil on 357 mag was manageable trigger was okay not as good as their Pro Series and Performance Center revolvers. A bit to heavy to carry for CCW but would make a good home defense gun.

Revolver is fit and finished nicely. I 've always been a sucker for a S&W snub nosed 357. So after I foolishly traded away my original it was only a matter of time till it was replaced.

Gun had faulty safety lock and would not let hammer come all the way back. at first I thought it was just a key lock on the key safety. GrabAgun must not have checked the 686 out before sending if operable. I think I have it working correctly now. Worked on it myself because of the hassle in returning. Great gun, learning the guns potential now. Only negative note, the hammer was so sharp with the aggressive checkering I had to debur the sharp edges. Balance, trigger, weight and finish exceded my expectations.

Purchased this gun as a birthday gift for my husband and he loves it.
