excellent firing, tracer is bonus, trigger pull is easy to get used to and is untraceable visibly as a concealed weapon. very pleased with the purchase

This is a perfect carry gun. It is so compact, but large enough for your hand to fit. So happy I got this one.

I have run about 200 rounds through my Bodyguard .380 and never had any kind of problem. Do a super clean up after the end of each day of shooting. You will have to do alittle a justing for the round to hit on or real near the red dot sight adjusting. I kind of wish that I had gotten the green dot easer to see in the day light then the red dot. Maybe later on. You have fun and "Stay Safe & Think FIRST"

Very dependable pocket pistol for the money. Smith and Wesson with a laser for $300.00 is hard to beat.

I'm not a fan of .380's for personal protection but on 95+ degree days it's hard to conceal anything much bigger. I purchased this on sale for $299. and am more than surprised at the quality. With 2 magazines and a laser it's a super deal. Shot it for the 1st time right out of the box with amazing groups at 10 yards. Laser was right on. A little disappointed at the long hard trigger pull and the fact that the sights are all black (no white dots) With a little practice you can overcome the

I'm 5'-7 and 155 lbs. I can carry this wearing shorts and just polo shirt over it. It's accurate and has no more recoil than my PPKS

Purchased my Bodyguard over two years ago with older laser. Have put 400 rounds through it. Trigger has improved over time. Shoots most ammo well. Gun is not as forgiving as my Glock if I limp wrist a shot. I like the second strike capability. Had some trouble with magazine falling out if loaded to maximum rounds but has improved as magazine spring compresses. Also need to be careful not to hit magazine release when squeezing grip tightly. The release button seems to need a stronger spring. I

I ordered this a little while back like maybe a month or more and today I fired it for the first time and it FAILED big time. I squeezed the trigger and it doesn't fire. I can hold the trigger down for over 10 seconds and it may fire and if it does fire its unexpected which to me is quite dangerous. Their seems to be a Big delay between the trigger squeeze and the hammer falling. So this weapon to me was a Big Flop save your money ????. Its sad to because this was my first S&M weapon

Took this gun to the range once and it’s already on its way to S&W for warranty work. Internal lip on the slide catch falls off of the top of the magazine once empty so catch won’t engage. Also prevents pressure from being placed on magazine so you have to pull it out...i.e. it won’t eject. Also, one of the hex nuts on the laser was stripped right out of the box. Would not buy again. There are a lot of other 380s out there.

Within 18 months of purchase I've had to return the gun to the factory for warranty work...for the same issue. Problem is the magazine ejects from the weapon while firing! After I purchased the weapon I learned this issue has existed for many years before I acquired the pistol. This WAS my primary carry weapon, but I have no confidence in reliability so I DO NOT carry it any more. I wish I had known about this continuing issue before I purchased as I would not have purchased the pistol. Both

Ordering through Palmetto was awesome. I did have a small trigger issue that S&W promptly took care of. I have put about 150 rounds through it since then with no issues. Love this little gun.

Trigger break is so far back that if I needed to use it in a self defense situation I literally would not be able to get the gun to go off with my larger hands. (I am 6’6) I could only get the trigger to break when trying to fire if I used the pad of my index finger and this is very hard on such a small gun especially if you were pulling out of your pocket in a high stress situation. I sold mine and bought a Beretta Pico. Thinner, and wayyy better trigger. Don’t waste your money on this

Everything i was looking for in a concealed carry handgun. I needed something that I could carry in shorts or dress slacks when I dont have a sport jacket to hide a waistband holster. I put this in a sticky holster and it looks just like a wallet in my pocket. And Palmetto is always a pleasure to deal with.

Great little gun, the pull on the trigger is ridiculously long though. Will modify to my preference.

I am pleased with the 380 Bodyguard as its attributes fit nicely as a small concealed carry. However, I only gave it three stars because the trigger pull is extremely long, making the weapon difficult to use. I am currently looking for a gunsmith to remedy the situation. S & W need to rework their design.

Super happy with my purchase. Fast shipping with no problems. Originally purchased this piece for my wife but after shooting this gun I will keep it for a summer carry. This gun is extremely easy to conceal with shorts and a tee shirt.

I'm having a lot of trouble with the slide. It is very hard to pull. I've caught my fingers in it twice now. I have not shot it yet as I live in NJ and need to find a range.

Had great luck with my Bodyguard in the 3 years I have owned it. I’ve put about 700 various types of rounds through it and it has been flawless. I carry it primarily in a sticky holster; it’s no bigger than a iPhone in a case when it’s in your pocket. Has metal sights, which is a plus in addition to the laser. Those folks complaining about the trigger pull have likely never shot a DA revolver. It’s as good or better than any stock J frame I’ve fired, and I like having the second strike

I was very surprised with this pistol. The wife bought it for her EDC gun and for a long time I teased her about it. Then I took it out to do a review one day. And I expected to hate it, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Overall the gun put down a decent group. It's lightweight and easy to conceal. I made her a kydex trigger guard for putting it her purse or pocket. I shot a couple boxes through the gun with no issues. What more can you ask for?
