Smith & Wesson M&P R8 PC .357 Magnum Revolver – 170292

Went through 50 rounds of .38 and 50 rounds of .357 yesterday. In single action, this gun is just smooth. I found out quickly that smooth equals much greater accuracy. I have several 3 semi-automatic handguns and love shooting them but nothing beats a revolver for home defense. Pick it up, point it, pull the trigger and it goes bang. This gun has eight rounds, is perfectly balanced with a slight barrel bias and the trigger is butter in both single and double action. It shoots more accurately than I. It's also over 1/4lb lighter than my 627 Pro and the Pro's barrel is 1" shorter!. Equipped with a red dot sight on the top rail and a tac light on the bottom, this gun is the ultimate in home defense.

This firearm has excellent feel. For its size it is extremely light. I was pleased that it fit alll my 627Pro gear as well. The trigger is fantastic. I was unsure on the v notch rear sight but so far its been a pleasure. This firearm is and absolute tack driver and I couldnt be happier with this purchase.

Though this is pricey....you get what you pay for. Favorite of my collection...durable, beautiful, accurate, and 8 rounds. 38's feel like 22's and 357s go boom. Perfect trigger and single action is rediculous. This thing rocks my steel gongs and the V sight is actually a nice touch. Moon clips are hard to load, but they are not necessary. The balance of the R8 is great. Even though it is light for a full size revolver the felt recoil is very little in standard 357 loads and almost nothing in .38. The trigger pull is great out of the box. Just over 9 lbs in DA and 4 lbs in SA and nice and smooth throughout. It is very easy to shoot well. GAG purchase and delivery was fantastic.

I absolutely love this gun. Fun to shoot and very comfortable. I highly recommend this pistol to anyone wanting a full size revolver.

Really smooth trigger and very accurate. For the cost I would like Smith to include additional grip and front sights but I knew those weren't included when I bought it and would buy it again. I have shot a GP100 much more than this and think that gun is great but the R8 is a league of it's own. 8 rounds is fantastic too but speedloaders can be hard to find. All in all I don't think anything beats the R8 outta the box

Picatinny rails top and bottom, a lightweight hot-rod of a gun! Put a Dot on top, a light on the bottom. This revolver is a tack driver that lives under my bed. Thanks, GrabAgun, for a great price on a future heirloom!

What can I say? I LOVE, LOVE this revolver ... shoots like a dream and looks even better. The only downside ... any other revolver is going to have to measure up to this! Of course getting a great price and awesome service from Grab A Gun just made the whole experience that much better.

this is without a doubt the best revolver i own. it has great balance, is very easy to handle, and shoot, and was very accurate out of the box.
