SMITH & WESSON M&P9 M2.0 METAL COMPETITOR

I have purchased several SW PC guns in the past, and they have all been non-functional and/or highly inaccurate. One SW PC Model 41 went back four times before reliably loading and ejecting. So, this was a shot-in-the-dark purchase. Let there be no doubt this gun is a shooter. It prefers 115gr and 124gr ammo. The 147 and 150gr ammo will shoot high right and somewhat scattered. Received my S&W Competitor a few weeks ago. S&W did a great job improving the M&P pistol. Metal frame with improved trigger pull. {Mine is 4.5 pounds} Four 17 round magazines and four back straps. Also has a mag well and extended magazine release. The standard M&P mag release is also included. I've fired app. 300 rounds to date with no failures of any kind. I bought this because i bought the beretta 92x performance last month and wanted to add another competitive to my collection. They are both the same and opposite. The beretta is intentionally heavy and robust. Adding a red dot is clunky so I did not. Great shooter and feels awesome in your hand. The smith and wesson is light and the custom made holosun sight fits like it was milled right along with the slide. The more I handle it the more i like this gun. If you get one, i cant say enough about the holosun sight that is built specifically for this gun. It is worth the price.

I've always been a S&W fan and the Competitor doesn't disappoint. Amazing accuracy, great trigger and a great addition to the family. Highly recommend S&W in general and you won't be disappointed with the Competitor. Happy to find the NY compliant 10 round in stock.

This gun is PHENOMENAL!!! I love everything about it. The weight. The design. The look. The feel. Everything!!! S&W took everything good about the M&P M2.0 and made it better while correcting any pain points. This gun is absolutely astonishing!

Outstanding firearm! Built for the competitor with all the bells and Whistles and the price of a budget build. Just strap a RMR And rock and roll!!

Surprisingly light weight. Easy to shoot with lighter recoil than my M&P Shield Plus. I like the 17 round capacity magazine and in the looks department it is both pretty and bad ass.

During the first 50 rounds or so the gun jammed every two or three rounds. Then the next 50 or so it was ok. Otherwise very enjoyable to shoot, minimum recoil and quite comfortable.

Very nice gun except plastic tool in handle that holds backstrap. Allen bolt was rounded off when I received it. Hard to remove.

Put the Competitor Slide on the Metal frame and the Metal slide on the Competitor frame…….outstanding combo. Both are amazing pistols

The Smith and Wesson M&P M2.0 Competitor is awesome. Feels good in the hand and very accurate. Gun.Com had it at a price that couldn’t be beat. The delivery to my FFL was fast.

Very great sidearm, trigger is crisp, sights are accurate. I only wish they had it in a few different colors especially all black would be nice.
