Very good feel and weight after handling it for a few days. Easy to load magazine and it goes in easily. Gun feels balanced in all directions. Much easier to pull back on the rack and the crimson red laser sight is perfect for me and is very accurate and coincide with the gun's sights. Will continue to get comfortable with this with practice

Great gun; easy racking, easy safety operation and easy to shoot - especially with the CT Laser ;-) If I had to cite something unexpected, it'd probably be the impact of the spring's 'lightness' - the one thing, of course, that makes it much more usable for those having challenges with beefier slide actions. We bought the EZ primarily for my wife who admittedly hasn't shot much in recent years. If you don't keep a firm hold on the grip and allow the slide to absorb the majority of the recoil like it's supposed to, the gun can sometimes fail to fully chamber a round. It's an easy recovery, but not something I'd prefer her to be doing at 2:00 a.m. in a dark house ;-) From my own investigation, this issue seems likely caused by a phenomenon called "limp wristing" - or letting the wrist and/or arm absorb more of the recoil than it should. She will just need to get more accustomed to letting the gun do what it's supposed to do with respect to recoil; practice will help that. That being said, the spring tension in the EZ is definitely what makes it much more usable for her than any of the other autos we looked at. It's easy to conceal, handle, load the magazine, shoot, etc. And the addition of the CT would definitely be a valuable advantage.

This gun that’s exactly what it was designed to do. It makes it so much easier for someone to rack the slide. Additionally putting bullets into this clip is so much easier than others. I took this gun to a gun class and had a couple people try it you can see they were also impressed

When I did my target shooting with this new gun it was so easy to rack the slide, not to big for my hand when you grip it. I really love this gun no complaints women would love this gun just like me

There isn't much bad to say about this firearm. It feels good in your hand. It is very accurate and the big plus for me was that it is Mass Compliant so I was able to purchase it in a Mass Gun Shop! I have put 200 rounds through it and love the feel. The laser is a plus.

The only reason it was a four is I never got an email saying it was in,I would check and it kept say shipped. The only reason I knew it had arrived was because I went to live check to see how long does it avg take for a firearm to ship to the store and they told me then said it shows at the store and to call the store and sure enough they had it. Other then that, the guys were really great and I really like the firearm.

Was told (Jordan) BI would be a few days, and I would have my gun! cabelos has since been paid by my Visa! And yet, no gun!

I bought this for my wife and Was very hesitant at first but its what she wanted. I have been very impressed with it and she loves it. It shoots great, feels great in your hand, is surprisingly accurate, and has a very nice trigger. Only complaints are the finish Is nice but not very tough and scratches easily. I wanted to get a glOck 19 but ItIt was sold out so I took a look at these. At first I was going to get just the regular one without the laser. However, I am so happy I found this one because I really do like the laser. This is so easy to load and it does not have a lot of recoil. I really like this much better. So glad i ended up purChasing this one. I Tried it on thr range and i feel that it is aCcurate. Very happy with this purchase.

Great gun. Glad that i purchased it. I did experience the gun locking up while cleaning it but I should have read the reviews and not held the safety while cleaning. So i will say user error on that. Other than that no complaints.

This will definitely help with the quick response needed the lazer easily turns on, definitely recommend

I am a Beginner and First time Gun owner. I find this model of gun to be the best for me. I am currently taking classes at my local shooting range to be better aquatinted with my weapon along with the State Gun Laws.

This gun is everything I hoped it would be. It is lightweight and relatively compact. However, the 9mm is still very powerful. It is much easier to pull back than the typical gun. The laser is amazing (and comes with free batteries for life if you read the laser manual). Whether or not this gun is marketed to women I honestly don't know. Well, when somebody tells me I can't I show them that I can. So, yep, I can rack it, load the mag, and hit my sweet spot every time (within the first 100 rounds!), I have small hands and getting the grip just so needs some practice. Anyway, thanks S&W for making a pistol I feel comfortable with for home defense.

This is exactly what I needed! My husband recommended the EZ since I have a hard time racking the slide on other models. It is a perfect fit and the laser is an added bonus. Thank you Smith and Wesson for thinking of us ladies!

This was our second S&W Shield EZ that my wife and I purchased. We wanted to have the same hand gun that she could pickup and use without thinking about how to use vs. remembering which she was picking up to defend herself.
