Smith & Wesson J-Frame revolvers have had your back since 1950. These small revolvers were designed to fire a full power round and are as simple and easy to use as they are reliable. Available in various calibers and with three diverse hammer designs, it is no surprise that the Smith & Wesson J-Frame has become the most popular, small-frame, defense revolver on the market. The model 340 PD is a variation of the Model 40 Centennial AirLite that integrates the time-tested features of the original with modern advancements including HI-VIZ Fiber Optic Green front sights. This revolver is a favored back-up and concealed carry firearm due to its lightweight, enclosed hammer, and reliability.

1 year agoAwesome little J-Frame. Let's face reality, if I am carrying a J-frame it is because I want something small and light. This is a beast but can handle full .357 if you're hiking and every ounce matters. It is great for ankle duty where every fraction of an ounce matters and if on your back getting from an ankle as a backup, you might need to be able to press against your attacker and have it not go out of battery. It's expensive and isn't a range gun but .38 +P+ is not too bad and I like having … Read More

1 year agoI love the pistol, fits well in my hands. Great concealed carry piece, very little profile. The barrel is stamped not recommended for rounds less than 120 grns. The Hiviz front sight does not show as much light as I would have liked and the glass piece was chipped when I received it. Not enough to have to send it back and be with out the weapon though.

1 year agoLightweight. Compact. Manly caliber. S&W quality. Plus Grabagun.com is the fastest shipper out there. What’s not to love?

1 year agoFirst, it's a s&w which says it all. I changed out the stock grip, and added the Hogue Monogrip Rubber Grip Black for S&W J Frame revolvers which gave me much better control. THis mighty mouse of a revolver is Lite, conceals nicely, and has the power to stop/neutralize the threat. Excellent choice for self defense.

1 year agoGreat gun for conceal carry. Not for long term range use because of it's light weight, but the best coneal gun I ever had.

1 year agoYesterday I put 50 rounds of 357 mag, 158g thru this gun. Not bad at all. I mean recoil is as you’d expect for such a lightweight. But nothing like YouTube would have you believe. In fact, hornrady 38 special 158g wad cutters didn’t feel much different.

1 year agoNice well made gun but it kicks a lot due to the light weight. This is a good concealed carry revolver, not the gun you are probably going to shoot a lot at the range. But I like carrying it knowing if needed I am not leaving brass behind.
