Smith & Wesson Model 586 4" Barrel Large .357 Mag/.38 S&W Spl +P Revolver, Blue – 150909

My first revolver. The S&W 586 4" has great balance, feels solid, smooth trigger. Cylinder and hammer lock and cock like they have jeweled movement. Gun looks as good as it shoots. Could be happier. GrabAGun came through as usual with a great price super fast shipping.

I absolutely love this gun it was everything I expected. The grip is amazing and the blued finish is flawless.

This revolver is breathtaking. I didn’t think they blued guns like this anymore. The action is heavy but silky smooth. The single action trigger is like nothing I’ve ever shot! Extremely accurate! I cannot recommend this 586 or GrabaGun enough!

The look and feel of this firearm is excellent. I'm old school and don't think they have ever made a stainless steel revolver that can match the beauty of a blue finish.

Compared with the 629 I bought from this same sight, my 586 was put together with much more care. Looks great, shoots better.

Really just got it and as yet haven’t been able to take it to the range for testing. just holding it my hand and looking at it I can tell you they did a pretty good job on the finish, the blueing really stands out “excellent “

I love my new Smith and Wesson 586 357 magnum. I am so glad that Smith and Wesson has continued to produce these classic firearms. In my younger days, I didn't have the opportunity to purchase one. purchased this handgun a little over a year ago. shooting at the gun range is a joy. the craftsmanship of this gun is such that you will never want to sell it! this 586 is accurate and although you are shooting a 357 round, the weight of this gun seems to absorb the recoil. if you are looking for a good quality revolver at a reasonable price, consider this gun.

Classic good fun. Well made, outstanding accuracy, esp with a typical .38 special, and handles the .357’s well wHen a want a cannon.

Classic power. The Internal trigger lock might bother purists but doesn't bother me at all. Wood grips look great but leave something to be desired as far as control

They call it classic for a reason. Semi-automatic pistols may be more popular and certainly have their place, but (with all due respect to Colt Python fans) as far as revolvers go it just doesn't get any better than the S&W 586 Classic.

I really like this firearm. It has a great weight and great sights. This is being said from one who has arthritis and low vision. It is a dream to shoot. I have fired both 38 special and 357 ammo. For the range I will use 38 ammo. But for critical defense will use 357. The recoil was not too bad with 357. The firearm is a real beauty to look at as well. I am very well pleased. Note: I purchased as a critical defense firearm for home or car, not conceal carry.

Great revolver for an “old school day at the range”. The front sight has is red and it’s a great pistol. Very solid.

I bought this pistol in 1990. Dead balls accurate and highly reliable. Half a dozen speed loaders, well trained and a hair trigger. I am a wheel gun guy all the way. Highly recommended
