Smith & Wesson Model 610 10mm 6.5" Revolver – 12462

Great handgun, looks good, feels good with excellent accuracy. A fine handgun for hunting and target shooting, with the 6.5 inch barrel. It took me 30 years to get my 10 mm revolver from their first introduction in 1988, and I'm thoroughly pleased with this purchase. The only improvement I would like, is an unfluted cylinder as the original model and my other S&W Hunter handguns. I really like the black front sight and white outline rear sight for hunting and target shooting. You certainly can't go wrong with this purchase!

It was discontinued in 1998 as a hunting revolver but due to 10mm popularity in 2019 was again made available by S & W as a Model 610 in stainless steel with a 6.5" barrel & full underlug with a 6 round capacity. In my opinion it's better than a used over priced 357 magnum Colt Python.

i recently got a S&W model 57 from G.A.g. great, speedy service. love that thing. being a "semi-auto only" guy -now, almost a "former semi-auto only" guy- The 610 is a nice piece and i am sure i will like it as much as i do my model 57. have not shot it yet due to lockdown. fit and finish is great. g.a.g. was again, great!

Beautiful revolver but didn't consider the inconvenience of having to use moon clips. Hate the internal lock and won't ever use it but should've received the keys and they weren't included. Very pleased with GAG service and speed in shipping my order.

This S&W Model 610 is a great revolver especially being able to shoot 40 S&w along with the 10mm. Trigger pull was a little heavy but I put a lighter trigger rebound spring in it and cured that. I really like the easy to change front sight, I put a fiber optic on mine.

Beautiful Gun, my friends want to buy it, I told them to check out GrabAGun and get one ! This 10mm is a blast to shoot, not to much recoil even with the hottest loads. I'm glad I my this purchase ! By the way it looks better in person !

Great gun. I immediately put a hiviz front sight in it and love the way it handles the 10mm and 40 smith & wesson. Still getting use to moon clips, but I bought a tool to load rounds and extract them. If you are looking for a small to medium size hunting hand gun or super fun target shooting, you can’t miss with this gun.

This revolver is an excellent, excellent handgun! Right out of the box, I placed 50 rounds of American Eagle FMJ in a small black circle at 15 yards; shooting out the red bullseye in the first few shots. No adjustments for elevation or windage whatsoever. This S&W Model 610 will make a superb addition to my collection next to #s 617, 686, 629, and 460. This gun was purchased because I already had a Kimber Eclipse Custom II chambered in 10 mm, and therefore I had plenty of ammo ready for

People are sleeping on this revolver. Plus 10 mm has been stores even with the ammo shortage. The gun has little recoil but you can feel the punch.

Less recoil than my M&P 9mm, due to the weight of the gun (at least with 1200 fps FBI loads). Very fun to shoot. Double action is a bit of a workout, but single action is crisp and light. Accuracy is amazeballs- I’m a novice shooter and I was getting 4 inch groups at 20 yards right out of the gate. It did feel like accuracy dropped off somewhat after something like 50-100 rounds, though- she got dirty pretty quick. Might have been the ammo I was using. Outstanding pistol....The combination of the S&W large N frame and 10mm are the perfect balance of pistol mass and a good strong cartridge size. Felt recoil is a nice firm push without any sharpness. I use this as a range gun, and it extremely accurate and enjoyable to shoot.

Super Fun to shoot!!! Definitely has a Bark but I love big pistols! Nice quality, nice fit and finish! I recommend changing to a HiViz front sight. Big improvement on sight accusation and easy to change!

I finally got to shoot it yesterday and it did not disappoint me. It was very accurate. I had a few people at the range ask what it was. I really like this gun.

Can't say enough about how much I love this revolver! Not one thing bad about it. I should have bought it sooner.

Good weapon, but was not brand new as advertised. I had to clean a lot of carbon off the front of the cylinder and from inside the barrel as well as the bore. After cleaning and oiling I could see scratches in the stainless steel where someone had tried to clean it up.

My wife and I really enjoyed shooting this gun first time out. Used both the 40cal (180g FMJ) and 10mm (180g FMJ) rounds, they both shot equally well. Can't wait to get out to the range again with it.

This gun is valued at approximately 11 Hi-Points and it feels like it weighs 11 Hi-Points. Use this to target shoot or fight packs of 30-50 feral hogs. This is technically small enough conceal carry, but no belt could hold this up. This is shoulder harness and open carry only unfortunately.

Incredible firearm with amazing fit and finish. The 610 has always been an amazing offering with a power range between 44 and 357.
