5 stars on gun, 4 stars on shipping and delivery (10 days). This fits me so well, much better than my 686 Deluxe with fancy wood stocks. I really like the k-frame Combat Magnum. I received rubber stocks with round style back, not as shown with the round to square style. Also rear sight was not white outline as expected. Not sure thats much of an issue.

I have a soft spot in my heart for K-frames and the 66 is amazing, I didn't like the 686 as it was too bulky but the K-frames are perfect size if you want to daily carry a 357. A combat class act

My first gun. Got it for home protection, love it. Was shocked that ammo was in stock - big bonus. Have not had a chance to take it to the range yet. Just putting together all the accessories - locking case, dummy rounds, cleaning kit, headsets, etc.

This is the first gun I've ever owned. I purchased it for personal protection and target shooting. I am older and by myself sometimes. I wanted a gun that is simple to use and reliable since I have little experience with firearms. I also wanted a gun that I can take from state-to-state for travel. This gun is pricey but meets all of my needs. Its history and reputation made it a clear choice. As for the gun itself, its like fine jewelry. I can see the thought and quality that went into its making. Heirloom quality in a modern weapon.

Expensive, but a great gun for home or hiking. Took a while for SW to get it in stock, but worth the wait. Stainless is indestructable.

I think the “California compliant “ part is silly, but I have to deal with the laws where I currently live. This is a Smith & Wesson revolver, do I really need to say anymore ? This is a beautiful firearm!

05/29/2023: This is a beautiful revolver and Smith & Wesson has fixed the previous flaws. The finish is great along with the black highlights. It fits my hand perfectly. I am glad I purchased it to add to my collection. I need to do my 10-waiting period still. Then I can take it out to the range.

I have this exact gun. It a late 1970's model 66 no dash in great shape. I like the early models better because of the pinned frame and barrel also the absence of that stupid internal lock. And pre Hillary hole. Great gun.

I carried one of these pistols as my duty weapon when I worked in law enforcement during the 1990s. It's still every bit the powerful and accurate gun that it was then. There really is nothing like a fire breathing magnum, and when you pair that with S&W's lighter K frame, you get some real magic. It's a shame people have abandoned these for t...Read More Read more about review stating A must own classic

The S&W 66-8 was in excellent condition when I picked it up from my local dealer. The lock work is nice and tight and everything worked the way it should on a revolver. In great shape and I was surprised that it was presented exactly as shown. I was a bit nervous purchasing a weapon tht I had not handled in the store, but I'm glad that I did! ...Read More Read more about review stating Great Gun
