Have been wanting a big manly revolver again for some time. After doing the research I decided on then 686 plus. Trouble was finding one. Checked Grab A Gun and of course they had one. Bought it on a Friday night and had it Monday afternoon.

It’s a great piece !!! My only problem is finding ammunition !!! That will pass I haven’t shot it enough to be use to it but it is a cannon ! Y’all did well thanks for the great help !!!

Brand new out of the box was a big excitement! Feel good and can’t wait to shoot. Trigger and hammer was a bit tarnished!

I have purchased several firearms from Guns.com and have been satisfied up to this point however I received the 686 plus and I believe this firearm had been shot before. As expected from the S&W Performance Center, the action on this revolver is incredibly smooth and the double action trigger pull is excellent. Obviously not a great concealed carry weapon but a great field and hunting pistol. Great right out of the box and should only get better when it’s had a few hundred rounds through it!

Gun was shipped fast and in PERFECT condition, I am positive it will be very effective at the range next week. The revolver is top notch.

686 plus is light weight and a great carry. limited recoil for a class of this size. Balance is the best. H.

Ordered on a Saturday, picked up from FFL on Wednesday. Very fast shipping. This revolver is a fine and exquisite piece of a killing machine. The trigger is the smoothest trigger I have ever felt. Cylinder lock up is the tightest I have ever seen. With the hammer locked the cylinder does not move at all.

I own a 686-6. I had it packed away in a rubber tote for about a month during a move. It turned black! I was able to get part of it off. This is my 7th S&W revolver I purchased. It may be my new favorite. The trigger is very smooth and crisp. My only gripe is with the cylinder release. It is oversized for ease of use for competition. Have been thinking about carrying a revolver for a while, have been a 45 guy for a long time. I had a 686 I carried for a while in the 80's as a duty weapon and like it. I like the dependability of a revolver and the power of a 357. Accurate and shoots well. It could stand a little polishing of the mechanism for a bit smoother action.

Excellent performance at the range. Wielding feels balanced. Probably too heavy for a ccw for most people but definitely possible with a sturdy belt and holster. Great gun, learning the guns potential now. Only negative note, the hammer was so sharp with the aggressive checkering I had to debur the sharp edges. Balance, trigger, weight and finish exceded my expectations.

Tried to get one for months and then PSA had a 4 inch so I ordered and had it within a week. Great soft shooter with 38s but a fantastic trail gun with 357 158 gr solids????????????????????????
