I'm not a 1911 guru so take this as a average gun owner impression.First off, the only reason I gave this a 4 star on quality is there seems to be a issue with just the round butt model 1911PC's grip screws loosening over a few hundred shoots. This is a great gun, I had a chance to shoot a friend of mines and now I am trying to find one for my own. Everything was so tight and fit so well, and it was so accurate. I was shooting sub 1" after the first 10 rounds.

S&W Performance Center knocked it out of the park On this 1911! Fit and Finish is top shelf! Trigger is amazing and accurate as all get out! Comfortable EDC!

I wish I could give this a 4.75 star rating because my issues are subjective and nuanced. It's a beautiful 1911. I see no quality issues and it has performed flawlessly. It is the perfect pistol weight and dimensions and feels awesome in hand. It points and shoots so naturally. Very accurate. The checking is great. Smith hit a home run with this 1911. The fit is extremely tight I shot 400 rounds thru it so far no problems with any 45 ammo acurrucy is right on. Trigger pull weighs in at 4 ounces with no creep the gun is just starting to break in sights were right on no adjustment needed. Highly recommend this Smith 1911. Competition or every day carry. Bang for the buck it is hard to do better. Gun has shot everything we have put in the mag. Feels real good in the hand, trigger is pretty good (not Ed Brown good but half the price) The weight if pretty light and could be used for winter carry (I live in the south) Have over 1000 rounds through it so far with no jambs/FTF/FTE. The sights are just OK, I'm going to replace them eventually with night sights or fiber.

The Smith and wesson performance center 1911 round butt is one of the best 1911s I have ever shot, silky smooth action, great feel in the hand, shoots extremely accurate. I highly recommend this firearm. Only complaint is it needs tritium night sights.

Beautiful gun but I wasn’t crazy about the grips. I ended up ordering the cherry wood grips - now it’s a 5 star!

The Performance Center 1911 4.25 inch with Scandium frame is a pleasure to shoot and I am getting better at field stripping it after watching about 15 YouTube videos, of course this is not fault of the weapon, just my first 1911!

Love this gun! Light, really good looking, shoots like a .40 cal. Grips keep coming loose but thats okay i ordered custom wooD grips. VeY easy to carry.

This is a GREAT 1911, it is a tight fitting gun and feels like a extension of my arm. Not one problem with this gun. IF IT GOES ON SALE AGAIN I WILL GET ANOTHER ONE.

Awesome firearm, was looking at the e-series for awhile, but I thought why not pay a little extra for the performance center touch.

Have not had the opportunity to fire it yet, however it's fit and finish and smoothness of cycling is incredible. I'm very pleased with it. Smith & Wesson makes the most advanced design and highest quality firearms in the world.

This was my first purchase from this company and they shipped faster than I expected. I love my 1911 and it did not disappoint on the range, accurate right out of the box.
