1 year agoI initially liked this gun better and would have given a 4 star if not for the site problems. The first couple range outings with it were good. The third outing I started missing the target completely. After unloading the gun and looking closer at it I discovered the rear site moved. I took it home and set it strait and tightened the screw. Seemed ok until next time out. After a couple of shots started missing again. When looking at it again the front site was off. While looking at the

1 year agoI love everything about this pistol, Except, the grip texture is too aggressive. Your hands will get sore after a few magazines. A little 200 grit sandpaper and delicate sanding fixed the problem.

1 year agoNot a fan of the sights, only adjustable for windage. I’ve been trying to decide whether to replace the sights or mill the slide for an optic. Everything else about it I prefer to a Glock 22, the grip is very comfortable, the trigger is way better than a Glock trigger and I would consider a good trigger. The weight feels more balanced though it’s front heavy with the 5” barrel. The frame gives it a lot more rigidity over a Glock. The recoil is mild and manageable. The aftermarket

1 year agoFirst S&W, smooth crisp trigger, easy to hold, changed back strap fits a big hand nicely. Well worth the price point. First purchase at Sportsman's, was impressed, nice people, handled the crowd well, purchased online, picked up in store, painless, thanks.

1 year agoGun has real nice feel and weight distribution performs really well everything you’ve ever wanted in a quality a gun. I’ve let so for friends I shoot with try it out and I haven’t had any complaints yet. Plus just has an awesome look.

1 year agoI love the M&P line and this M&P 40 was a great add-on to my M&P.22lr, M&P 9MM Pro Series, and M&P 45.

1 year agoExcellent pistol. Very accurate and very low recoil for a .40 S&W. The rear dovetail sight came loose and fell out of place after first 50-rounds. Sent back to S&W and they installed a new slide and sight. Took about 2-3 months to turnaround the repair. No issues after the repair.
