1 year agoSeems massive when you first pick it up but after a short time you get over it. Fit and finish was flawless and built like a bank vault door. Recoil is much more tame than you first expect. My girlfriend shoots .454 Casull rounds no problem but while the recoil is manageable the muzzle blast is quite a bit to anyone around you when shooting .460 mag rounds. With a good hunting shoulder holster (like Diamond D) you can wear all day comfortably. I wear it fishing and hunting in bear country.

1 year agoThis is my Bigfoot gun. I put on a Trijicon RMR, the recoil is severe but not unmanageable. Considering black Cerakote and polished cylinder. This is really cool and really just a fun gun. I also have the 7 1/2 performance center. Sportsman’s is my go to for ordering firearms at a decent price.

1 year agoI got it because I live in Alaska, and I felt like this would be more versatile than my .44 or a .500. Probably getting a .500 later on, but this packs more than enough punch for what I need it for. I don't think it's going to be suitable for a lot of hunting since its the short barrel, but for hiking/camping protection its perfect. Yeah its heavy, but with a kenai chest holster I think I'll be ok. Kinda wanted the 460v 5", but after holding this I knew I wanted it. After a trip to the

Look no further, the 3.5” XVR is the ultimate package for anyone wanting to wrangle one of the most powerful handgun rounds. Well made, crisp trigger, awesome piece. 1 year agoI was hesitant to just order such an expensive gun online. Figured it would also be a bit of a hassle. I ordered the gun late on a Monday night and had it in my hand Thursday afternoon. The whole transaction went flawlessly, I would definitely recommend this especially for a hard to find gun such as the S&W .460XVR that I got.
