SMITH & WESSON Performance Center Shield M2.0

this gun fits my hand and is so much more comfortable than my gloc. the added comfort, the space below the slide to fit my left index finger and the upgraded TRIGGER have dramatically increased my accuracy. Best handgun I have found to date.

I bought this gun a little over a month ago and have put about 1000 rounds through it. The grip texture is just right for me. Not too grippy and not too slick. I like the green optic front sight. The SHIELD with its single stack is extremely comfortable to carry on my hip. Once broken in the performance center upgrade is much better than the standard shield. I cant wait to get back to the range and use this gun some more.

I upgraded to this pistol from Shield 9 with 3.1 inch barrel. This pistol is a great improvement. 1. Grip texture is more aggressive than previous gun, m1.0 2. Extra inch of barrel length is helpful for accurate shots 3. Fiber optic sights are easy to find and aim 4. Trigger is much improved on the M2.0. Still has long take up, but break and reset are clean 5. Slide return spring is still very stiff; this is not an EZ I've run 300 rounds through the gun so far, shoots well and enjoyable

Always wanted a shield, but hated the uneven look of it with the short barrel and slide. This 4 inch model is perfect. Perfect looking and perfectly BALANCED. And the fact that it's a performance center by default is just icing on the cake. I did change the trigger shoe to an apex. I just prefer the semi flatness of the apex over the stock. Didn't change any springs or anything like that. The trigger weight on mine is perfect. It's LITERALLY not needed. I LOVE it. Goes great with my full size m&p 9, 22 Compact, and shield 380 ez pc! Only regret is not buying it sooner to get the rebate on it.

overall, the m&p is a good platform. It could use an ambiguous slide release and mag release. For the sale price that grab-a-gun advertised, it was a good buy.

I really like the feel, the action, and the look of the gun. Fits my hands well. Easy to load and handle. It doesn't move around in my hand while shooting - perfect grip

Great, but not perfect handgun, only thing needed is an Apex Tactical trigger shoe to replace the crappy hinged design. Its really the one thing PC "tuned" guns should have really addressed.

Like the weight of the pistol and it’s accuracy. Suggest frequent shooters purchase an EZloader for reloading the magazines. This will save thumbnails. My only negative is that the slide is too stiff and makes it difficult for me to clean

Great pistol. The sights are great and so are the ergonomics. The trigger feels good as well. It's definitely one of the better stock triggers I've felt. It's comfortable to carry as well. The capacity is a little lacking compared to other options, but I feel comfortable with it being so reliable and accurate. I picked it up bundled with the knife and cleaning kit and felt like it was a great deal for what I got. I'm definitely happy with my purchase.

Nice package especially for the price after the rebate. Nice single stack 9mm that fits my wife's hand nicely. Also 8rd mags available from Sportsman's for $20
