1 year agoWell balanced and powerful pistol along with enough ammo lethal force that can be concealed carry everywhere.

1 year agoWould definitely recommend. The only downfall is that although it is optic ready, it doesn't come with the optics screw kit for various optics.

1 year agoLooks and feels great. Added a Streamlight TLR-6 and a Tulster holster. Any M&P Shield holster and upper parts will fit on this gun, no magazines or grips though.

1 year agoThis is the third Shield 9mm I've owned and it tops them all. It's the one everyone wanted a couple of years ago. I was glad when PSA had it available right away, even before I saw it on competitor's websites, and it shipped quickly with no issues. I'm very happy with it. It's hard to put as many rounds through it as I would like with the national ammo shortage and the springs in the magazines are tight and need to be cycled through a couple of times, but they do loosen up. The trigger is great and the grip texture is just right. S&W obviously listened to customer feedback.

1 year agoI have several of the original Shields, but the Shield Plus has rendered them obsolete. 10 and 13 round mags with essentially no increase in size make the Shield Plus a drop dead no brainer. Also, uses my existing Shield holsters and shoots tight groups. What’s NOT to like?!?

1 year agoIt's unbelievable that a manufacturer was able to make an upgraded product so close to the original, that my broke in holsters all fit from my original Shield.

1 year agoTrigger is way better than the 1.0 or 2.0. Texture is best blend of 1.0 and 2.0. The extra capacity with the flush mag evens the field. Easier to control than our 365xl because your can get more of your off hand on the grip

1 year agoEssentially identical to my favorite EDC Shield, but with greater round capacity and better trigger. So far, after <100 rounds, I am very pleased with this purchase.

1 year agoAnother fantastic gun from Smith and Wesson !! I was looking for a compact 9mm pistol and this new Shield Plus 9mm caught my eye immediately when it came to market. My wife and I both love the gun and we have taken it to the range 3 times since receiving it from PSA. It has been flawless all 3 trips to the range. It is easy to rack, the grip is fantastic and the trigger is excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new 9mm pistol. All I need to do now is buy some extra

1 year agoThis is my third M&P Shield firearm from Palmetto and each time I am more pleased. This is the finest 9mm made in my opinion. The size is smaller than the Shield EZ models but has twice the capacity. When firing this, the recoil is about the same even with a shorter barrel. The trigger is light and comparable to the Performance Center Shield 380 I have. The grips are much better with the 13+1 magazine and I will be putting a Pearce grip on the 10+1 magazine when it is released. This is my new CCW.

1 year agoI have carried the 1st generation Shield 9mm on a daily basis for many years now. I probably have around 2000++ rounds through that pistol. When the Plus was announced, with dramatically increased capacity, it was an easy decision to upgrade. I just returned from my first range trip with the Plus where I put 200 rds of 115gr FMJ, and 50 rds of Hornady 115gr Critical Defense (my carry ammo). Perfect function. Zero issues. The trigger on the Plus is a MAJOR upgrade (and I was one who liked the

1 year agoA little disappointed in my first purchase of a S&W auto. Gun looks and feels great but out of the box the last round in the 13 rd. clip is extremely difficult to load. Once in the clip will not fit into gun. S&W says the spring in clip needs “setting” and just breaking in. I never had this problem with my Colts,Rugers, or Taurus autos. Thumb safety is also very stiff and too small. Expected better for $550.

1 year agoMy S&W M&P is everything that I was expected. It is easy to conceal, and great ergonomic. I have no issues to load the magazine and to use the slide release. It is very accurate. I ran 500 rounds with no problems and issues.

1 year agoUnbelievable. GREAT trigger and reset. Easy to shoot/control. Had small .380 pocket pistols used for edc. They were not any fun at all to practice with. The only one that is halfway better is the Glock 42, which I pocket carry when the Glock 19 is too big for wardrobe. GREAT grips, easy to get a good grip, which is 90% of the control battle. With 13 rounds and a ten round backup, the Glock 42 is being retired. I will add that I am 70 years old and don't have the hand strength I did years

1 year agoThis is a very slick well-balanced gun. It fires beautifully and functions very smooth.I would recommend it for anyone regardless of their skill level.

1 year agoThis is a relatively decent handgun for EDC especially considering the new and improved features that you get for an affordable and competitive price. I'm a big fan of Smith & Wessons M&P series of pistols and currently own a few now, all of which were obtained via PSA. I'm very impressed with the trigger and the overall feel and functionality of this new configuration but it does have a few small defects that can and should be improved. The 13 round magazine that comes with it is very

1 year agoPositives- Great gun, easy to conceal and recoil is pretty manageable for the size. I really like the ergonomics. I’m average height 5’7”, and hands aren’t big so this gun fits my hand perfectly with both the flush 10 round mag, and extended 13 round mag. Cons- Reviewers are correct that the 13 round mag is tough to load at first. I resolved this by leaving the magazine loaded for a while to break in the spring a bit. This is my 3rd M&P and 2nd subcompact and had to do this on each. Not

1 year agoSweet shooting gun luv it, also my new carry gun PSA rocks in my eyes, keep doing what your doing. I've got a couple of weapons from you guy's and will keep ordering from you, thank again from this Florida boy

1 year agoVeryn ice gun except I have had issues with the magazine release. In my opinion the mag release protrudes too far. On two occasions I accidentally activated the mag release by placing it on it's left side and the release activated. Another time the mag release activated while I was removing it from the holster. I'm right handed so it's natural for me to want to place the weapon on it's left side on my night stand. If I press down even slightly while the pistol is on it's left side the mag

1 year agoThis gun is a perfect conceal carry pistol. It is very accurate and after about 8 hundred rounds or so, I've had no issue whatsoever
