2 years agoThe finish was good, everything seemed to be in spec. There were some imperfections, most likely there before the finish. The serial number engraving seemed a little shallow. The other engravings were nice and deep. It's not perfect, but its good quality for the price. I also just like spikes *shrug

1 year agoBuilt a previous 556 Cal rifle with the Crusader lower and it has performed without any issues at all in 3 years of service. Building another rifle now with AR9 upper and the same Crusader lower, I don't think Ill even try another brand at this point. Very happy with the SPIKES product. The Crusader is a fine piece. Ill provide an update after the new build.
