1 year agoThis is my favorite gun at the range because it is extremely soft and accurate. This is the gun I bring for my wife to shoot, and it's also the one I usually choose for myself because of the painful arthritis in my hands. (it's also cheaper to shoot than my .45) I bought two 10-round magazines from Wilson Combat which are nice for my 5-round shooting exercises and I will probably get a fiber optic or hi-viz front sight. Those are all the enhancements I plan to do. I wished I could buy a Dan … Read More

1 year agoSuper accurate and the trigger is just as good, maybe a bit better than my Colt National Match!! Might have to get another one! I added a set a VZ grips.

1 year agoGreat gun. Excellent fit and a lot of features. I've only been out to range once but so far and the gun ran flawlessly. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the crossing cannon logo on the slide which should have been engraved.

1 year agoBest single stack in 9mm that I own. Just a bit ahead of my EMP.. I already put on front FO sights, hogue grips and a techwell magwell on this bad boy. Ran 200 rds today. Flawless thus far. Cant wait to run it in comp!

1 year agoAwesome shooter. My target hit percentage at 25 yards is much better with the Springfeild than the CZ75 SP01 or G34. Shoots like a 22 target pistol. I need to get smaller targets now. Good problem to have.

1 year agoLove it. Accurate right from the factory. Well made. Not light weight tho. So if it's a matter of who can raise there barrel first, odds are against you here

1 year agoIt wo be nice if th gun came w 10 Round mags. After 350 break-in rounds the gun functioned very well.

1 year ago4.5 stars. Love this piece but it needs a fiber optic front sight. Black on black is very difficult to acquire in darkness or on a black “shoot n see” target. One last improvement would be for the slide release extended. I absolutely love the feel, aesthetics and it is very accurate.

1 year agoVery disappointing, pistol would not cycle with any consistency, tried 6 different factory ammo brands, all FMJ, in 3 different bullet weights, in 3 different brands of high quality magazines. Nothing worked, have sent gun back to factory for repair or whatever it takes, as it stands right now, it's the worst gun I've ever bought, and I have bought quite a few, over the years.

1 year agoGreat gun. Like the looks and like the feel. However haven't made it to the range just yet as ammo is a bit difficult to come by.

1 year agoLove this one. I have a Springfield Armory Loaded .45 and it's been flawless so wanted to add a 9mm 1911 so when this one came up available I made it my Christmas present...from me to me. :) I've put about 250 rounds through it already...very accurate and very easy to stay on target. Had a few misfeeds but it's known that it needs a little break in time and there were not enough to be a major concern. Love the way it looks and feels in hand...another high quality product from Springfield Armory. Can't go wrong with this one.

1 year agoIf you are a fan of the classic 1911 and want one in 9mm, this model by Springfield (which is hardly in stock) and a Kimber (which is never in stock) are your only options on the CA handgun roster. I’d had my eye on this model for a while and I’m glad I picked one up. It shoots accurately with very little recoil right out of the box. Like most 1911’s, it had a few hiccups in the first few magazines, even after cleaning and lubing it before taking it to the range - there were a few times where
