Springfield 1911 Ronin 9rd 9mm Pistol – PX9123L

The gun look and handles very nice. Straight shooter but hits just left for me. I like the feel in the hands with the longer grip. Shot 115,124,and 147g FMJ with no problems. However, I sent it back to Springfield due to an ejector problem. The shells land on my right shoulder, I'm right handed, and on top of my head. Even found shells in my jeans pocket. It's off to Springfield as I write this and hope the ejector problem gets addressed.

Nice little 1911 option for carry, once i learn to trust it more. Its easY to shoot, accurate and I AM really surprised at how little recoil this small pistol haS. A bit surprised at how many failures its had so far though. Ive put about 300 rounds THROUGH it So far and probably have had at least a couple dozen failure to feeds, or other ejection / stovepipe issues. Going to run it another couple rounds and hope the kinks get worked out. If I could go back, i probably would have bought the 4” version.

What's not to like? Straight out of the box with a quick wipe down and lube, this thing shot like a champ. Put 250 of various rounds through in my first range session and not one fail. For a micro it was on point and had little recoil. Fantastic slef defense pistol. My only gripe is that the fiber optic strand popped out somewhere around 200 rounds. Haven't heard back from Springfield yet about a replacement. Still giving 5 stars as this is Fantastic little shooter.

Excellent size for concealed carry, very nice 4.5 pound trigger right out of the box. Very easy to disassemble. Only issue is the fiber optic sights. I couldn’t see them in low light situations so i replaced them with xs sights DXT2 Big Dot Night Sights. Now it’s my everyday carry weapon.

Purchased this a while ago and have put several hundred rounds through it without any problems. I was very pleased with how well balanced the fun is in my hand and for only a 3” barrel, no snapping back after shots. Very accurate and love the fiber optic sights that you can quickly pick up. Of course the quality is amazing for this price point. You can’t go wrong with this compact 1911. One of my new favorites!

I have always had revolvers, but never saw a pistol that jumped out and said "Buy Me" like the Springfield Ronin series did. The color scheme is beautiful with the two or three tone colors. I love the 1911 models due to a career in the ARMY. As for CC, this size is just right vs. a full size. This EMP 3in 9mm will be the only CC that I will ever carry. An outstanding pistol in all aspects!

A wonderful 1911! Shoots fantastic and is just small and light enough for edc or concealed carry. Great, crisp trigger and flawless operation through several hundred rounds of various ammo!
