Springfield 911 Alpha Nitride .380 ACP Pistol, Black – PG9108
Springfield Armory’s 911 proved that a pocket pistol could fit in your hand and shoot with the familiarity of the legendary 1911 platform. Now, Springfield Armory introduces another version of the 911, the 911 Alpha in .380 ACP. The Springfield Armory 911 Alpha offers a value-priced variant that focuses on the essentials of the platform, while maintaining the quality and handling characteristics the gun is known for.
An optimized frame-to-slide-to-trigger guard relationship creates a uniquely comfortable, intuitive and accurate shooting experience for a pistol of its size. A crisp, short-reset, 5-pound, polymer trigger ensures a light yet responsive pull for reassuring precision, while the loaded chamber indicator provides a visual and tactile indicator of the guns condition. The extended thumb safety encourages easy manipulation of the safety under life-threatening situations where fine motor skills can be compromised under stress. A fiber optic front sight and white, two-dot rear sight allows for quick and clear target acquisition.
To keep the gun invisible until needed, the frame measures 5.5 inches long and less than 4 inches high, with a smooth profile that’s undetectable under clothing. The new 911 Alpha is crafted of 7075 T6 anodized hard-coat aluminum, the same material used in combat-ready firearms like Springfield’s renowned Saint AR-15 rifles and pistols. Cross Cannon polymer grips and vertical line texturing on the front strap and mainspring housing provide additional traction and a secure hold on the pistol. The 2.7-inch, 416R stainless barrel gives this small gun amazing accuracy at greater than confrontation distance. A full-length guide rod with flat wire spring enhances control and softens recoil.

1 year agoFor the price i don't think you can beat this little gun, love the size and feel, i have larger hands so you have to be careful how you hold it and not let your grip come any where near the slide or it will have a rough time, until i figured out what was happening I thought i had made a big mistake. I put some rubber Hogue grips on it and changed the way i hold it and have not had it go out of battery once. I will say it took me 3 brands of range ammo to find one that i liked to eat, it is

1 year agoGreat little pocket pistol! Not a horrible bite for a pocket 380! I was actually shocked at my accuracy with it... it is still a short barrel 380, but is a great deal on sale!

1 year agoI love this little gun, I had forgotten the advantages of the 1911 style, single action trigger over the striker fired pistol, it's no comparison. This gun is totally reliable (about 200 rounds, can't find ammo right now), lightweight and easy to carry, shoots great too.

1 year agoI really like my 911 Alpha model. Several have asked what the difference between this the Alpha model and other models of the 911 are. Well first the alpha model does not have an ambidextrious (sp) safety, Which I prefer anyway, as a right handed shooter. It only comes with one 6 round flush fitting magazine, and has the typical 2 dot rear sight with a fiber optic front sight.. They do include 2 extra sight tubes one green and one red so you can change them out. I tried 3 other models of

1 year agoI have only had the opportunity to use a couple of times at the range but so far, so good. I'm debating how I will carry it still, but this was one of my top choices for a carry weapon. I'll probably look to accessorize it too as my hubby decided to get the same weapon for his carry choice! I mean a girl has to stand out in the crowd!

1 year agoNice value in a small pistol for carry use. Trigger was a little heavy on the pull but the let off was nice and crisp. Wish Springfield would install the new U dot sight on these. Will most likely have to get a new one as my wife may take this one over.
