1 year agoFor the price I would highly recommend this pistol, it is very well made and good craftsmanship is shown. I am running a TRL-1 HL on light rail on the frame. The HEX DragonFly optics plate come with mine, I decided since its impossible to find a RMR plate you try the Delta Point Pro and Plate on this pistol. Could not be happier! There are several plates which all included the rear sight. My only complaint is the delta point pro is a pretty thick optic so my rear and front sight now just became ... Read more

1 year agoI had the chance to shoot this at a range day and man its smooth. It offers the same feel you come to enjoy with 1911 guns with a double stack mag that 2011 guns have. The build quality is great and the trigger is crisp. I definitely will be buying one myself to make range days spicy.

1 year agoI haven’t had any problems with mine like some have. 500 rounds thru it now with no malfunctions. Best shooting pistol I’ve ever had, very smooth and very accurate.

1 year agoSpringfield hit a home run with their prodigy pistols. For new 2011/1911 owners, they are not glocks, xdms, or other poly guns that just go bang dirty or clean with any ammo. These are not Hondas. They're Corvette c8 type pistols that do need a little break in, a little tlc, and like to be clean. They compare but are not a Staccato (ferrari roma? ) and not an Atlas (MCLaren elva?) I've got both and they're amazing. No optic plate yet and mine are stock but I'm hitting a 2/3 ipsc plate at 50 … Read More

1 year agoSo far I will be honest I am a little disappointed. Have had several feed issues with this gun. Ejects fine but feeding new round has struggled. Seems to get better once you have fired 50 or so rounds after cleaning. Shot roughly 300 rounds total. We will see. Also the two piece guide rod is a pain in the butt. Makes disassembly for cleaning very cumbersome. Not giving up on it yet but would not trust for protection of any kind. Gun is very accurate and easy to shot well. Just frustrated with the misfeeds.

1 year agoBest shooting gun I own.. The 5” barrel is so smooth and the recoil is beyond manageable..! Iron sights are so spot on.. wish every gun I have shot like this..

1 year agoPut 1000 rounds through it with only 1 failure to feed. Shoots smooth and fast ... happy I didn't get a lemon like some other people. Running it with a tool less guide rod and 11# spring
