2 years agoVery nice mil-spec 1911, the cocobolo grips with the crossed cannons are also very nice. The gun was quickly shipped and has functioned without an issue. i would RECOMMEND getting some better magazines such as wilson combat or chip mccormic.

1 year agoAmazing gun at its base, already bought upgrades and looking at new sights but man, classic piece of American History here and a great consumer value. Have t shot it yet but love it already! I went with Parkerized version b/c I wanted the closest to an original mil spec 1911 under $1k I could get, everyone recommended this model in shops and on forums. Great feel of grip and easy to rack and clean.

1 year agoFor an entry-level 1911, I like the quality and craftsmanship. No sharp edges. Fit and finish surpass my expectations. Picture looks like grayish or greenish but actual product was flat black. But it is okay with me. Trigger pull is perfect for me too. Not too heavy or too light. I haven’t fired it yet due to ammo scarcity and indoor range restrictions in my area. But I’m certain it will perform very well. Yes, I recommend this product to buyers.

1 year agoThe pistol I bought ( Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec 45 auto ACP 5inch Parkerized ) is as good as I expected.. I loved it .. I am sure to recommed this pistol to a friends / family who are ever wanted to heve a 1911 45 cal. pistol.

1 year agoWhat a beauty. Shoots great, looks great. Mil spec parkerized finish looks darker than the product photo. Comes in a soft case with an extra mag and spare black grips. I'm lucky SW could procure this one. Thanks to the fine folks in the Chico store!

1 year agoJust what you would expect from Springfield. Fit and finish is perfect.. The sights are much better than I expected from a mil spec. No reason to change them. Grips are good. Very accurate.. Love the 5 inch barrel. This was my 3rd firearm I've bought from sportsmans. The only way to buy a firearm. Easy and smooth. I would highly recommend this pistol.

1 year agoA true mil spec 1911. love mine shoots so good. Ran steel case through it with no issues super reliable especially paired with the 3 year warranty from sportsman.

1 year agoVery happy with this pistol. So far it has functioned flawlessly and I am more than happy with the accuracy. I like this better than some of the high end pistols that come with "features" that I don't want. The only complaint is while the trigger pull is only 4 lbs. it does have a little bit of creep but I think that is OK in a pistol priced so reasonably.

1 year agoLove it. Always wanted a simple close to original 1911. Amazing gun, especially for the price. Very well-built gun.

1 year agoVery comfortable and amazing to shoot with. It definitely packs a punch, just like my World War 2 and 1 first person shooters. I can see why it was called the Man Stopper.
