SPRINGFIELD ARMORY ECHELON 9MM 4.5" BARREL 20-ROUNDS BLACK OPTIC READY

I just shot this new Springfield pistol this morning at a demo shoot. I haven't bought it (yet), but for a first time shoot I got a nice tight 10 round grouping at target center (at 20 ft, indoor range). I impressed myself, and that doesn't happen every day. The gun felt very good in my grip, well balanced, sweet to shoot. The double stack mags give either 17 or 20 rounds capacity. This is definitely a gun I will be watching to purchase.

I own Springfield Armory Hellcats. The Pro is my preferred carry. The Echelon is different. Its features make it a dream to shoot. It is the most versatile Handgun I have ever owned. At least 30 different red dot sights will fit. The trigger group can be removed and placed in a different frame. A rear night sight is available. Hell cat adjustable grip which I like. Flat trigger but no review of it so far. 20 round mags is certainly a go. Red dot mount to the Slide is ground breaking and saves alot of time to power up. Looks like a winner! I'm looking into getting one at this great price. Thumbs up to Springfield Armory.

I impulse bought this one night and I have no regrets. I've put about 200 rounds through it without any issues (last round slide lock worked too, despite some other reviews saying otherwise). I've been a Glock fanboy since I was old enough to own a firearm but the echelon might replace my gen3 17c as my go-to full size 9mm.

It is a very nice firearm. Shooting it was very smooth! This is already my favorite out of my collection.
