1 year agoExcellent 1911 for the money right out of the box. Fit and finish is very good with a nice trigger. It has just enough upgrades over a Mil-Spec to make it feel modern but look classic. I have them in both 9mm and .45 ACP and both are great. Homerun for Springfield and Grab A Gun.

1 year agoI’m a big fan of 1911’s and the Garrisons get great reviews, this is very tight! It will be fine with time! I put Rosewood grips on

1 year agoI just received the Springfield Garrison .45 ACP. Has a good feel and I like the three-dot sight. I'm right handed, so the lack of an ambidextrous safety is no concern to me. I'm looking forward to firing it, but our ND weather isn't conducive to outdoor testing here at the farm. Indoor ranges are hours away. The front strap isn't serrated, which ...Read More Read more about review stating farmer

1 year agoSpringfield Armory is top notch quality for a fair price. The Garrison is a souped up 1911, I love it. I wish Springfield included two magazines, it can't add much to their cost.

1 year ago...but not without its flaws. Springfield nonetheless has great customer service and was able to address some feeding issues. At this price point though, and for the overall craftsmanship it's worth it.

1 year agoA very well made pistol. First 500 or so rounds and everything is working perfectly. Solid, steady and accurate. I would recommend this to anyone

1 year agoFunctions perfect right out the box very tight tolerances. Only thing to remember is it’s a lot darker than the picture shows, picture appears more gray but in person is black even the grips are dark stain. Still looks great.

1 year agoThe pistol was used reportedly but I doubt if a box of 45 was shot through it. It is that clean. The odd thing is the heave smell of cologne as if it was going on a date. Beyond that, the price was perfect and the condition is as well.

1 year agoSeamless purchase from Palmetto State Armory. Shipped fast and great price. Excellent firearm. Fun to shoot and highly accurate.

1 year agoThis gun for the price point is excellent, fit and finish is superb, no looseness in the slide to frame or barrel bushing to barrel. Needed a small windage adjustment. Very accurate even at 60 yards without the use of a jig or sandbags, one certain kind of ammo had loading issues, switched to running Federal ammo with no issues. Have about 300 rounds through it. look forward to many more days at the range with this 1911 Garrison.
