2 years agoI purchased the Hellcat for everyday carry and found it to fit well in both in car and on person. Shoots well so far with 100 rounds through it so not really broken in in my humble opinion. The SMSc red dot was accurate and only needed a slight adjust ment right out of the box.

2 years agoLove the Hellcat Great Concealed carry and fits very comfortable in your hand, but the Red Dot is trash. the evevation knob broke and now i can't adjust the red dot up or down, this was the next day after the purchase trying to zero it. Save the extra $200 and just get another red dot or buy a hellcat without it. Sent it back to shield and honestly don't even want it back.

2 years agoI the pistol! Compact, fun to shoot, easy to break down. Very happy with it. Had a little hiccup with the shield red dot and the wrong clip, but sportsman’s wharehouse took care of it for me right away. Highly recommend the pistol.

1 year agoI have a .45 Cal. XDs. I like the Hellcat a lot more. It's actually smaller and lighter. I carry my XDs loaded with 8 .45 rounds (7+1). The Hellcat is 9mm with 16 rounds (15+1). Balance is good. Recoil relatively light. Once the OSP was dialed in for 30', under rapid fire I had no trouble putting 16 rounds in the black.

1 year agoI ordered my Hellcat late on a Saturday night. Guns.com had it ready to ship on Sunday morning. It shipped on Monday and I was able to pick it up 2 days later. It's a great firearm, fun to shoot. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star review is because the sights are off and I will have to pay a gunsmith to adjust them. I know this for a fact becaus...Read More Read more about review stating Great Service!

1 year agoThe pistol itself is outstanding, comfortable in my hand, compact, lightweight, well made and the price I found on guns.com was outstanding. I was honestly a little skeptical at first, but decided to take a chance and I'm happy I did. It was only a few days between placing the order online and picking up my new pistol from my FFL. Everything went ...Read More Read more about review stating Great Deal for a Great Little Gun!

1 year agoLooks great can't wait to shoot it, feels good in the hand. The sights are easy to use and give it good site picture. My son is thinking about getting a Springfield Hellcat to.

1 year agoI tried to buy this Hellcat from Locked and Loaded. They kept my money for 2 weeks then told me they couldn't fill the order. Found this one on Gun's ,com ordered it and 4 days later I was walking out of the FFL with it in my hand.

1 year agoWhat a gun. Was looking for a CC and narrower down my search to the Hellcat, P365, and Ruger LCR. I am already a proud Springfield owner (XD .45 full size) so I stayed with SA. Guns.com is the future. Shopped around a bit locally and online. Best price and fast service.

1 year agoSpringfield Armory never disappoints, the Hellcat has a feel that is just right for my hand. I have not had the opportunity to shoot this just yet but already having a Springfield in a 40 cal. I know this will be wonderful! Guns.com did a good job getting this to me, the only thing that could have been better was the wait time from lable making to...Read More Read more about review stating The Springfield Feel.

1 year agoCan't get the screws off the back of the firearm to add the optics. Optics did not come in the Shield manufactures box, but were floating freely in a plastic bag. Torq wrench that came to unscrew the optic plate does not even fit the screw holes. Firearm Box looked used and ripped when it arrived. I'm reading others on the internet resorting to using a drill to get the screws out. Just what I want to do, drill my firearm just to add optics.

1 year agoThe gun arrived in perfect condition and shoots great. I am giving it 3 stars because like others it arrived with the screws of the optic plate locked. Remember that you have warranty with the manufacturer. I sent mine back to Springfield and they fixed it for free and also installed the Red Dot.

1 year agoI usually don't review anything but there are many questions that I had that I'm sure others do too. To start I will say the gun looks and feels great! The red dot did not come installed, I had to install it myself. The install was fairly easy. There is a good YouTube video on how-to, just look for "Mounting Shield RMSc to the Springfield Hellcat OSP". Only problem I found was that they did not include the necessary Torx bit to remove the regular cover plate. Other than that all you need is blue

1 year agoGreat gun. Only about 100 rounds thru it so far, but no problems. Purchase was easy, shipping was fast, and a great price. My local FFL will always be my 1st choice, but PSA is a very close 2nd.

1 year agoThis gun is a bit snappy, but for a micro compact this is excepted. I put a compensator on it from SA, with a try precision barrel, and there is also a spring kit you can get that reduces recoil. After these upgrades the snappiness is gone and the thing is pretty accurate. I fired 150 rounds like nothing and it was great. This gun is awesome for concealed carry. No one can ever tell that I am carrying. Even when I dress up for church on Sunday, no one knows I’m carrying except the Lord Himself.
