Springfield Armory Hellcat RDP Micro-Compact 9mm Pistol MS, Blk – HC9389BTOSPWASPMS

First, the optic. It says it comes mounted, it does not. The optic that came with mine did not work. I am in the process of getting a replacement (quality control?). Always disappointing to buy something that doesn't work. Secondly, for 909 bucks, the manufacturers seem stingy by not supply a holster or something more. It shoots jus fine with the iron sights, they are actually pretty good, I wish the grip was a bit longer, it doesn't feel nearly as nice as a 43x in the hand. Maybe the 15

Ok I bought this gun and dearly love it. it shoots great, the compensator works great to. I know because I owned a regular Hellcat. The red dot is where I have a love hate relationship. The red dot is good, but in the 6 to 7 months I have owned it I have had the battery drain out 3 to 4 time. That is not 2 years of battery life.

Its a sweet gun but the red dot stopped working like a week after buying it. Luckily the warrenty was available for the red dot so I sent that in for repair or replacement.

Best of the feel safe carry - Safety Thumb was my final reason to buy this gun. Great pistol - Have only shot about 300 rounds so far, there is nothing negative I can say about this pistol.

Great little 9mm micro pistol. It’s ready for anything. Also found out Vedder holsters make perfect fittings for the RDP model (at least I think so)

This gun is awesome! yeah it costs a pretty penny, but it’s well worth it with all the extra little things that are on this thing. If you have big hands like me, 13 round mag will be good, 11 rounder sacrifices some grip space, but definitely pick up some of the 15 round mags and you’ll have all the real estate you need on the grip. Other than that I can’t rave about this thing more! Optics are ALWAYS ON which doesn’t bug me, I’m going to just run a 6 month line on the battery and swap it

RDP Micro_Compact is the best 9mm great love the HEX Wasp Red dot and the compensator is easy on off push button just received my 15 round clip can't wait to shoot

Love this gun. My EDC. I usually carry a glock19 and love it too. But the hellcat is a little smaller and shoot very well. Recoil to me some what nonexistence. And the red dot the compensator is definitely on point

Gun shoots great, smooth recoil and love the grip. Having issues with the Wasp sight fading off while shooting, other than that would be five stars

Great for EDC, I had issues with the wasp sight after about a month and a half, the battery died that quick, I replaced the battery and dated the replacement to see how long it lasts. If it goes out quick again I need to contact Springfield on the issue. This really isn’t a huge problem because with this sight, your iron sights co-witness perfect so if the red dot does fail, your not out of the fight. I have only been able to shoot my new Hellcat RDP a couple of times, but even at that I love it. Fits and feels great in my hand. Like everything, practice makes you better and more comfortable.

This is my second Hellcat. I bought the Shield Red dot and it’s wickedly accurate and so much fun to shoot. After years of being a glock guy the Hellcat is my favorite edc.
