A great rifle as expected from a M1A. I think the 6.5 Creedmoor is the best cartridge ever chambered in the M1A for the fact of light recoil and fast follow up shots. I can only give it 4 stars for two reasons. The first is because of the price, for 1,500.00 I expect sub MOA groups. I carried an M14 in the Marine Corps. I qualified as an expert on the range with an M14. It just made sense that I get an M1a from Springfield Armory! Thank you.

I bought this to be my renaissance gun. I wanted a hunting rifle that I could take out and shoot steel targets at 1000 yards. This is my first 6.5cr rifle and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a real head-turner and fires more accurately than anything I’ve ever fired in my life. Everything feels tight and smooth. The only problem I have with it is changing magazines. I think it’s more of a me problem than the rifle’s. I’m used to the AR button magazine release. The AK style mag release is still something I have to practice and get better at.

For starters a shout out to my FFL On Target in Crystal Lake, Il. Guns.com got it out there fast and I can't pick it up for a while. They are kind enough to hold it for me until work dies down. Just picked it up. Looks great haven't shot it. That mags are new. Hope they run well. The 1s in the picture looked like old 1s. All in all, very very nice

Fantastic weapon platform. Weight makes rifle easy to handle and tames recoil. Guns. com is very easy to use my ffl was on their list so it was very fast and easy. Shipping was very fast.
