The Ronin EMP combines the popular features of the Ronin series with the patented CCW-ready modifications that made the Enhanced Micro Pistol (EMP) the smallest 1911 in the world. The patented EMP was specifically engineered around the 9mm cartridge, giving shooters a frame with a reduced circumference for enhanced ergonomics as well as extremely compact dimensions. This 4″-barreled pistol with a 10+1 capacity strikes the perfect balance between size and shooting comfort.
Rather than simply shortening the barrel and slide like most compact 1911 pistols, the EMP also shortens the frame and action. In fact, the pistol features 11 proprietary parts distinct from a standard 1911 as a result of this adaptation. The end result is a pistol with a reduced grip radius for both enhanced comfort and concealability. Proprietary parts include the frame, slide, firing pin, firing pin spring, extractor, ejector, trigger, plunger tube, plunger tube assembly, grips and magazine.

1 year agoOrder was fast, ordered in the afternoon on Friday, shipped the same day! Received at my ffl on Monday. my only problem is grab teases those who have a notify me when item is back in stock. price was dropped over $50 less then two weeks after my purchase....

1 year agoLove it! I have small hands and also not a lot of strength to rack the slide. Therefore, I went through an arsenal of handguns to fit my needs, and I liked nothing. Until I found this gun. It fits in my hand perfectly, recoil is really manageable, and I can pull the slide rack back without any problems. On the top of it, it’s beautiful! As for shooting performance, very accurate, I outperformed myself with it during my first session. No jams so far. I’d highly recommend it and can’t wait to go shooting again!

1 year agoVery well built 1911, smooth shooting and very little recoil! I have close to 400 rounds thru mine and it has fed all types of ammo! Never had a problem with feeding or ejecting round ball or hollow points! Grab a gun got it to my FFL within a week from ordering! So far have been pleased with this weapon! I recommend it!

1 year agoI’ve only put about 120 rounds through it so far and it has run perfectly. Ammo was a mix a 115/124 grain ball ammo, ZQI and PMC Bronze. Fit and finish is definitely nice, and IMO the 4” is the way to go. My only ding would be the take down is a bit of a pain as it requires a small Allen key (which SA did not supply in the box as it should have been) It takes a bit to get used to it. SA did send me one in the mail and you can also use a standard paper clip. Other than that it’s been perfect and it is definitely a beautiful carry piece.

1 year agoHonestly. I love this gun. I took a gun class with a group of very serious shooters. I was the only person who wasn’t running a high end red dot, and I out shot everyone in the class. Smooth accurate in a 1911 that you can conceal.

1 year agoBeautiful weapon to look at. Ships with one mag and none are available anywhere. First 3 mags fired perfectly and weapon is extremely accurate. As soon as it starts to get a little dirty misfires are constant though. Like I said , it's beautiful to look at.

1 year agoThis one holds true to the feel of the 1911. Springfield Armory has done an excellent job with fit and finish. Highly recommend this to anyone in the market for the 1911 design.

1 year agoI bought this from my LGS and the fit and finish are great and typical for Springfield. Took it home and cleaned and lubed it with CLP. It came with one mag but my LGS had plenty of Springfield extras in stock. I bought one ten round and two nine round flush fit. I loaded all four and started to shoot. 1 year agothe chamber on this gun wont allow 5 conecutive shots from a magazine without jamming up tight. even Winchester 124 grain ball ammo locks it up tight. i put a micrometer on casess that jammed. they are well below SAAMI specifications. this gun is going back to Springfield armory.

1 year agoGot it today. Went straight to the range and put about 25 9mm rounds through it. What a smooth shooting weapon it is. After getting comfortable with it put most shots in a 5" grouping. Love it!

1 year agoNice piece. Ran FMJ rounds and JHP through with no problems. Carries fine even with longer grip. I'm not a big guy but gun is still comfortable. So far a keeper. Only problem is finding magazines right now.

1 year agoAccurate pistol up to 25 yards looks beautiful and made very well. In fact I have purchased the 4.5 inch and 4 inch. I was a police officer for 35 years and now a prosecutor. They they are the only guns a carrier everyday. The .9 mm on the 1911 frame is the way to go. You cannot beat them. They look like real pistols not toys
