Springfield Armory Saint Edge 5.56 NATO AR-15 Rifle – STE916556B

Use is for target/sport shooting. trigger pull is clean and crisp, after sending it back to the factory because of jamming right out of the box. Springfield took care of the problem, by replacing all the lower parts,(safety, trigger assembly, BCG, and polishing the ramps). I called SA, because I could not believe they had to replace the complete lower internals? SA verified the did indeed need to replace all of the parts listed on the invoice I received with the repaired gun. Shoots okay now,

Wonderful weapon shoots fine. PROBLEM: Will only shoot new high grade ammo. No junky loads or reloads. Really makes an issue when you have more than one AR already and have stocked lots of ammo for the AR That will not shoot WITHOUT JAMMING THE SAINT. HAVE ALREADY BROKE ROD AND HAD TO TAKE YO A GUNSMITH WHO CHARGED ME $100. To remove the bullet and would Not show me how he did it.

It is solid good rifle. However, dust cover never closed from first time. It is so annoying thing return a gun so I grind dust cover release ball and it works now. If they have ANY validation process to make it sure it is open well and closed(just one dry fire), this product shouldn't not be shipped. Second, After bore sight, a rear iron site set to all the way left side. Looks so uncomfortable. It may site issue or rifle issue but doesn't much reliable looking

I purchased the saint edge over a year ago and love it. First: This rifle has the absolute best trigger I have experienced. Smooth short pull and short reset. I hope springfield starts offering this trigger as a stand alone.. I will put it on each of my ar rifles. Second: the muzzle break does a better job than expected. The muzzle rise is negligible, allowing for very quick and accurate follow up shots. Third: the rifle is one of the lightest I have held. Even with a full 30 mag attached.

Amazing quality AR15! I bought mine over a year ago and have put about 5,000 rounds of various ammo thru it. Since day 1, Ive had 1......(One) malfunction. And I blame myself for putting a single bullet of re-manufactured garbage ammo thru it. It refused to fire it as if I were feeding it gluten free panzy food.

Awesome firearm! A great looking one as well. I am a big fan of Springfield products and this rifle has not disappointed me at all.

I knew I would like this rifle but from the first shot it was obvious that Springfield created something great. I've been in the Army for over 20 years, believe me when I say that it shoots better than rifles that cost twice as much. Do yourself a favor and buy two!

Great gun on a solid platform. I put a Romeo and Juliet red dot and magnifier. Also comes with nice carrying soft case.

This is an absolutely beautiful & full-featured AR-15 that does not disappoint in any way or leave you wanting more. Phenomenal Rifle! This is the first rifle I owned that didn't jam the first time I shoot it and it's -13° outside. Used the cheapest to the most expensive ammo that I have both in 5.56 and .223 without any issues. For the price and with all the upgrades, this is one of the best ARs straight from the factory, better than my DD.

Just tested one of these the other day. While expensive, it will be worth every penny to its owner. Very lightweight, modest recoil, easy to maneuver, accurate right off the rack. The only issue I had with it was it’s difficult to field strip. SA builds these rifles so well that they’re hard to take apart for cleaning. For that reason, it is not a gun for beginners, but I’m very excited to purchase my own when I get the money!

Quality rifle. Took it to the range for the first time yesterday, ran 300 rounds through it, performed flawlessly. Lightweight, accurate. The Springfield brake is awesome, takes the already minimal recoil of a AR and reduces it almost to nothing, and the sight picture barely moves at all. Great Firearm! Before this rifle I had just the basic saint and I had already loved that model quite a bit. But the edge blows it out of the water. The gun itself is light as hell perfect for anyone who likes to add lots of attachments. Shooting is smooth I was able to hit targets very accurately out to 400 meters (I have not tried anything farther). It also just has a very mean look to it and very aesthetically pleasing.
