Springfield Armory XD(M) .40 S&W 16-Round Full Size Pistol, Black – XDM9202HCE

I have owned standard XD models in both 9mm and 45acp but this is my first XDM and I have to say that I am liking this gun a lot better than the plain XD's. At self defense distances this baby shoots nice groups and out to 25 yards I was hitting a man size silhouette target. Now granted I'm no sniper and at 25 yards I'm not shooting dime sized groups but all rounds are well within the torso section of the target.

The title comes directly from my husband. LOL . He loves his new pistol and cannot believe the deal I got on it.

Being 40 Cal I read several not so great reviews but the grip and feel of this gun is awesome. Took a friend to shoot it yesterday and they were equally as impressed. Shots just like my Subcompact 9mm

The Springfield XD(M) .40 S&W 16rd full size is a very sturdy fire arm. I purchased during the 4th of July sale at an incredible price of $379.99. I put 50 rounds through it the next day after purchase. This is also my very first handgun and I am extremely happy I bought this!

I'm not a bigtime gun guru,but very happy with the overall experience with this gun.It shoots good,has not misfired and with the extra baxk straps I was able to fit my hand pretty well.This is my first 40,pretty happy with that also.It is also a good looking gun and a great price !

I am a major Sig fan, but this XD(M) is better than my Sig .40’s! It is a little heavy, but balances out well. Just like my Sig’s, it shoots itself.I would recommend it to anyone!

This is my first Springfield product and my first .40cal. Match grade barrel is beautifully machine to a polished perfection. Feels good in the hand. Recoil is just slightly more than my Glock 17 Gen4. Dual safeties, Day 1 hitting inside 7” target at 75’. I believe I stole this firearm at Palmetto Armory prices. I would highly recommend this firearm to anyone interested in a great all around.40 cal firearm first time or seasoned shooter. If I find the XDm 9mm for a steal, it’s mine.

This is my 3rd Springfield handgun and I must say I am impressed. I own S&W, H&K and Sigs and I have to say I put as much confidence in my Springfield's as any of the others. The accuracy and sure cycling of the action gives me great confidence in this gun, I plan on using it in my IDPA matches.

The only complaint is trying to get 16 rounds in the clip. shoots well. easy take down and cleaning.

Well balanced, great ergonomically designed gun. It's without a doubt the ugly duckling in my collection of handguns, but boy does it perform well. I absolutely love this pistol.

Months ago I ordered 40 cal factory 16rd XDM mags from BOTACH for $10.00 each knowing I'd buy a 40 XDM. Right before I went home on leave, PSA had these pistols on special so I ordered one. My son and I got to fire it once before my leave was over. No function problems, recoil was not bad and it handled well. Didn't get to shoot paper, but it appeared accurate enough. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

Shot hundreds of rounds of different ammo. Not a single issue and accurate. 2 other friends loved the size and grip feel.

I've always been a big Springfield Amory fan and this gun is yet another example of their quality. The XDm is an accurate, reliable gun that feels great in the hands. Highly recommend this gun!
