SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XD-M Elite

I previously owned a Springfield XDM 10mm that was not Red Dot available. Love that gun and it shoots awesome. As I get older my eyes aren't as good so I needed the cut out for a Red Dot. I highly recommend Springfield over Glock.

I just purchased this handgun today (11 May 2023) at Sportsman's Warehouse. I took it to the range and put 30 rounds down range. Zero jams, mild recoil and a fun gun to shoot. It comes with a total of 6 magazines, each holds 16 rounds. Everything that came in the box is in the photo below, except the mandatory gun lock included.

A great gun. Smooth action and very accurate as sold but will be adding laser. 6 clips is a sure bonus and on sale! Happy Father's Day. BTW.. SW in Henderson are AWESOME too!

the 16+1 will not be usable if you cannot cycle the arm. i ca n only feel that it was designed to be used with 16 +1 magazine

I haven't been shooting in years. I decided to get back into it. Researched out and this one was on my list. They did not have the Browning I wanted, but picked this up and so glad I did. Frist 100 rounds, no issues at all. I thought the balance was good and the recoil not bad at all. The extra mags are nice for sure! I did just request the desired optic plate.

The tool is a 5 all day long Delta store is a 0 and full of arrogant know it alls who don’t know much I went in acting like a newbie and wow these guys don’t have a clue and clearly don’t care won’t be back so keep the reward points and cancel my rewards program, Thank you!

I just ran 1000 rounds and never had a jam or anything wrong. Great gun for the price and it comes with 6 mags. Totally happy with this buy.

I bought this a few weeks ago before camping season. I ran about 150 rounds through it already. It’s absolutely great in accuracy and the recoil is minimal. I had nice groups at 20 yards and I was able to rapid fire with nice accuracy into center mass. With the six mags that it came with I was able to load one for EDC defense. 1 with hard cast bear load, and 4 with fmj for practice. I camp, hunt, and fish in bear county. I love the pistol, first shot downrange was directly in the middle of the bullseye at 7 yards. The rest of the group was in a half dollar, so accuracy was superb. The trigger is great and fiber-optic front sight was easy to acquire at the range (most ranges have horrible lighting). The mags were easy to load and the recoil spring was very stout. I am looking forward to putting more ammunition downrange and eventually use it for hunting.

I love this handgun! The fit and finish, as well as the weight and balance are great. It feels good the hand and the grip is very comfortable. The backstraps are very easy to change. I've been to the range with it and fired 100+ rounds with zero problems. The sights are bright and easy to pickup. The gun is very accurate. The control are easy to reach and manipulate. The recoil is manageable. The extra mags were a fantastic bonus. Take down for cleaning is a snap, as is reassimbly. I am quite pleased with the handgun and I highly recommend it.

Out of the box it was impressive looking. Slightly bigger than my 9mm M&P. But fits my hand great. Comes with extra magazines. I like the steel sights. Not much recoil as people are saying. Shoots good. For Bear protection when hunting and just to add to my collection. I bow hunt and have come across black bears at times. No confrontation with one but you never know.

I got this gun for self-defense against bear. This gun would be an addition to my rifle I would use. Right out of the box this was dead on accurate. It is not as heavy as I thought it would be and while the recoil was firm it was not as much as my .45 ACP; I could shoot it all day. I will probably get a grip add-on in the future but for now it is just fine. I would recommend this weapon even though I hope to never use it against a bear.

I have always been a 10mm fan and when I saw this pistol on sale with FIVE extra mags, I jumped on it. I was not a fan of the red Hi Viz front sight so I sent the slide back to Springfield and had a white dot front sight installed. The pistol functions flawlessly and is super accurate! It comes apart very quickly for cleaning and lubrication. Comfortable to shoot and the grip fits my hand perfectly.

Springfield has been making great weapons for hundreds of years and this gun is no exception. I’ve yet to shoot it due to fire restrictions closing many outdoor ranges, but I am so looking forward to it. I was looking for good bear defense weapons and 10mm is recommended. There is a visual pin to check if the pistol is cocked. Came with a shooters bag and 6 mags total. Great value and smooth but heavy trigger pull. The weapon also came with 3 backstrap options for different grips. I’m sure I’ll love shooting it.
