Springfield Armory XD-M Elite 9mm Pistol, Blk – XDME9459BHC

The Springfield XDM series has been in my “tool box” for nearly 10 years. I have the 4.5” 9mm and most recently purchased the XDM Elite 10mm. Both have comfortable ergonomics paired with legendary performance delivered through their match grade barrel. These are the best polymer pistol you can buy at any price point, in my opinion.

I enjoy shooting riffle as I find handguns abrasive. This pistol is easy to use fun and accurate. It has made pistol shooting fun for a riffle guy.

As a lefty, finally having a fully ambidexterous pistol is amazing! Having no muscle memory or practice with this model before, out of the box it really impressed me on getting comfortable and accurate first time shooting. Do not hesitate to get this pistol if you have been on the fence!

This is one of the most amazing handguns I have ever owned. We have put almost 400 rounds through it so far and no issues what so ever. The trigger pull on the elite model is smooth and easy. The new xdm elite 4.5 has taken the already established and excellent xdm platform and made it even better. With the new match grade trigger, which is amazing and has to be felt to appreciate, it comes with two 20 round magazines, with 22 rounders available! Giving you an unbelievable amount of rounds on tap for when you need them the most. Combime this with the removable flared magwell and reloads are extremely fast. The new U dot fiber optic sight system are fast to acquire and center themselves instantly on target. This is my new edc choice. Highly reccomed this pistol.

My Springfield XD-M Elite 4.5 inch barrel arrived at my FFL / range today and I was able to fire off a couple of magazines. All I can say is “what a pistol!” The META trigger on these things is silky smooth, the recoil on the 4.5 barrel is barely noticeable and there is very little muzzle flip. I’m by no means a marksman or competitive shooter, more of a weekend plinker, and it was nearly impossible not to put rounds in the bullseye at 7 yards. I never owned a pistol with a U shaped rear

I have owned a Springfield XD-M for a few years and have been very happy with it. After reading the reviews about the new XD-M Elite I decided to make the purchase when PSA ran them on sale. The improved trigger system and rear U sight helps make it much more accurate than the original. Another plus is the oversized mag well which makes loading a lot easier. The first time I fired the XD-M Elite I was very pleased with the group and way it felt in my hand. I have already purchased two 22

This is an awesome pistol. It makes me want to sell some of my Glocks and replace them with XDM Elites. I strongly recommend you give the XDM a try.

Capacity, accuracy, springfield quality... There isn't much else I could ask for! Great and well rounded firearm! My only wish would be for a grip texture more similar to the XD-Mod.2, however, that is likely because that was my first gun. This grip is still excellent and I would take it over any other brand!

It is truly a handful, even with big hands. No, not because of the recoil, which is really non-existent due to the form and size. But it’s a handful because of the heft. This is a sure keeper, as with most Springfield guns. I’d do it again for sure.

Exceptional love the Grip safety and the trigger setup. Heaviness well built model. The Elite saids 21 but I’ve had a hard time even getting 18 rounds into the mag. Maybe because it’s New and needs break in. I wish it would of came with night sights but I could have a nice trijicon set installed. The grip is fantastic! Very accurate Extremely well made Elite XDM and am very satisfied! Thank you

I now have shot several hundred rounds threw this gun now. From all different distances. I really like the feel and consistency of its shooting. I will be getting another one, in a different caliber also.

This is an excellent pistol. I personally love the rear grip safety but if its not your thing, that is the only feature you might want to be aware of. Go feel one at your local gun shop first. The trigger is excellent and the reliability is fantastic as well. Once these get back in stock at that price I'm buying a second one.

I bought a 3.8, a 4.5 and a 5.25 locally, and have been very happy with them. I shoot in a weekly league, and I use the 5.25. I put Powder River triggers in all of them, keeping the stock striker spring for reliability. Never any FTF or light hits. Great gun for the money.

I have the Original XD 9mm, XDM Competition .40 and they have been reliable, good shooters. I also have the XDS 9mm and XDM Elite 9mm. They both failed after about 200 rounds through them. The strikers got fouled and stuck. I had to modify the way I clean them. I am very careful with solvent and lubricant so they don’t get gummed up. Both actually failed on the same day at the range.

This is one of the best 9mm i own.. the only thing that bothered me is that the frame was not made in the USA..! God Bless the 2nd Amendment..
