1 year agoWhat a great gun at a great price. When I told my FFL it was coming and the price I paid he logged on and tried to get one himself because he said it was lower than his cost but they sold out. My 6th XD pistol. Shoots great and reliable.

1 year agoWonderful pistol ! Amazing to have a large caliber .45ACP in such a compact size yet fires very accurate and handles recoil quite well ! Trigger feel is amazing ! This is my first firearm from Springfield and I love it ! Perfect for CCW or in the automobile or bedside table. Nothing but praise for this firearm which is also available in 9mm ! Palmetto State Armory is wonderful as well ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! Now for my next Springfield purchase ? :-)

1 year agoIt's the perfect concealed carry gun. I bought a carry clip from clipdraw.com instead of a holster and it is the most comfortable carry gun I've ever had. In extremely happy with it and it's not that expensive either

1 year agoLove it. Light. Thin. Conceals easily. Lots of magazine options. Amberide Kydex rail fits superbly. Eats any ammo I throw at it with no feed jams. Only regret is missing the option to order the model with night sights for a few more bucks.

1 year agoAfter firing this XD-S,i am sold on it as a EDC. Recoil is no more than a full size 1911 in .45 ACP,due to the lower bore axis, just less to hang on to.Everything i read said they ship with a 5 and 6 rnd. mags.Mine came with two 5's for some reason.I would really like to shoot it with a 6 rnd.with the extension. Gun ran 100% with my JHP carry ammo. I put it in a IWB holster and have carried it all day every day since.

1 year agoI've owned this for several years now and have shot unknown number of rounds through it, probably in the 1,000s. I haven't had a single misfire or any other type of failure, such as a stovepipe, etc. I don't use reloaded ammo, so that may explain this. It's comfortable to shoot and accurate, good for conceal carry and an all around good gun. The only thing I would change is to round out some of the hard edges, like a Ruger to make it more comfortable for conceal carry, but this is a very minor complaint.
