Very comfortable to hold. Love the large mag capacities. Handles recoil like a full size. Sights are fantastic and easy to spot. I was a little worried about the trigger freeze issue that many have reported online, but I've only been able to recreate it when I intentionally try to. Don't let that scare you away from buying.

I dare you to try one of these at a range. I’ve never experienced the magic point between comfort and fury. Just hope I’m never on the wrong side of a Hellcat.

Great gun apart from the trigger will lock up sometimes when shooting. Springfield says this is normal, it is not! I have shot >20 guns including the xd and xds and none of them do this! Buyer beware

The Hellcat lives up to the name! Love the tactical magazine option. Larger hands on a compact need the extended magazine.

It's a nice gun but I am probably going to sell it. I find it too hard for me to pull back the slide. Side by side, the barrel is slightly longer than my Sig Sauer P365.

Great light weight and compact carry. Fired excellent at the range - tight group and comfortable to fire. Sights are fantastic and easy to pick up. Love the high capacity magazines.

I am presently taking a shooting class with six other people. One of my classmates is using a Hellcat. Two nights ago it blew up in his hand!! Fortunately, he was not seriously hurt; just a scrap on his face and hands. The Hellcat did not fare as well. I have fire thousands of 9mm rounds in many different pistols, never a Hellcat or any other Springfield, and have never had a firearm blowup! Real sure in will never own or shoot a Hellcat.

Was given this gun as a gift several months ago and it is my go-to EDC. It is so small yet still carries a lot of ammo and has a really good feel for its size. With the extended mag I can carry 15+1, which is ridiculous for this size of a gun. I use a minimalist IWB appendix carry holster and can wear it with just about any outfit, even just a t-shirt and shorts. I have several friends who also have CCPs and they will occasionally ask if I am carrying because they just can't tell. I've put about 1000 rounds through it at this point and have never had an issue. It shoots well and the sights are pretty nifty, too. Very easy to see and get lined up. The only negative I have about this gun is that if you shoot it a lot it can get uncomfortable in your hands due to its size. In particular my shooting hand middle finger knuckle will start to get raw pushing against the trigger guard when I shoot a decent amount of rounds in one session (100+). That being said, I don't actually think it takes away from the gun. It's just a byproduct of its very compact size. So what I'm saying is that it is great for what it is intended for: concealed carry.

Dont hope to hit any farther than 20 yards consistently , this mean for edc , it is the king of its class, it is a snappy but it is a little monster gun that will work as designed thats why alot of people like it. I have 1 in my collection.

I purchased the basic model because I am used to a Glock. Still worth the money if you need a basic, every day carry without having to add an optic. The “U” shaped sights, the grip texture, and the 2 different magazine sizes that come with it were what converted me from Glock to the Springfield Hellcat. I carry mine in a hard holster either in my waistband or my purse. I love it. I feel more confident firing this gun - if you haven’t tried it, you should.

This is the 2nd Hellcat that I bought from Bass Pro this year. The 1st one came with 2 incorrect 10 place magazines. This one came with the correct 11 and 13 Magazines. After I balked on accepting the sale, the sales folks assured me that Bass Pro would take care of this mistake. Customer service did not and completing the same survey for the 1st one did not. I'm extremely disapointed! This will affect the way I do business with your company... LARRY Larry F. Smith

This has been my EDC for three years now. Sold my old one to get the Desert FDE. Reminds me of fighting in the desert. Alas, there are no bad guys here to shoot back. Just paper targets. Great gun. Recommend it all day long and through the night until dawn.

I have over 900 rounds through this gun with zero issues. Easy to carry. I wish the mag release was ambidextrous (like the XDs) with out having to disassemble the gun to swap it over. The rear sight took a little getting used to. I like that 15rd magazine are available. I would recommend it to a friend.

Everything about the gun is amazing so far, I have no complaints at the moment and hope to keep it that way..

Right out of the box I shot ten rounds at 35 feet and hit a 10” steel plate with every round. We put 250 rounds through it the first day with no jams. Only wish it wasn’t a Washington purchase and got the larger clip capacity. Excellent gun! Great service from sportsman warehouse.

My first compact pistol and I love it! Had to buy a 15 round magazine for it because I ordered mine with a 10 round magazine. I had to get used to the trigger though. I was used to the smooth canik trigger other than that it’s a perfect conceal carry.almost forgot … it comes in a cheap looking makeup bag lol
