The Standard Series is a faithful semi-auto only recreation of the original M14. Keep in mind that the Standard M1A is as well suited for a day at the range as it is for filling that special place in your military collection. All the design features that the Armed Services found essential for a battle rifle make the Standard M1A a great shooter. The windage and elevation adjustable rear sight minimizes the effort required to zero the rifle. The two-stage military trigger, detachable box magazine, op-rod, and roller cam bolt call to mind the rich history of the M1A while providing functional ease of operation and legendary reliability. This model has a composite FDE stock with a black Parkerized barrel and a muzzle brake. It is CA compliant.

1 year agoAs an avid gun enthusiast and M1A rifle owner, I can't help but wax poetic about my experience with this remarkable firearm. Having fired over 350 rounds through it without a single jam, I can confidently say that the M1A has exceeded my expectations in terms of reliability and accuracy. From the moment I first picked up this rifle, I knew I was holding something special. The M1A's solid construction and sleek design immediately appealed to my senses, and its performance has only … Read More

1 year agoThis old-fashioned weapon is a "throwback " of a time gone by. I have always been smitten with admiration. Finally, the time has come for me to actually purchase one. Great weapon to add to one's collection. B

1 year agoThank you guns.com for providing great customer service and super fast shipping. I would suggest the M1A for both range and hunting application as well as self defense if necessary. The standard is a great wall hanger with functionality that is hard to argue. 1 year agoIn 1968 I was in the military using the m14 and at 300 meters open sights I never missed a target, re issued an m16 and the rifles were good. The m14 has been my favorite for over 50 years now, you can't go wrong with the 14

1 year agoRight out of the box the fit and finish of the rifle was much better than expected. I am no stranger to the M1A or the M14, and have owned several over the years. Just for curiosity’s sake I grabbed a box of LC 87 M852 LR that I had in one of my ammo cans. I set up an NRA 100 yd target at 100 yds and fired 3 shots, using the target sight picture. ...Read More Read more about review stating MOA with the irons right out of the box

1 year agoTrouble loading Mags. I had quite a bit of trouble with the rifle taking factory mags. Even Springfield Armory Mags.

1 year agoI just received the rifle and have not had a chance to shoot it yet. The service was good, as expected. The rifle arrived in great shape and I was pleased that it came with a nice carrying case. That is all for now.
