Springfield Pistol 1911 Garrison .45acp SS 7rd 5" – PX9420S

Bought a Springfield 1911 Garrison in .45 a couple of weeks ago. I am personally very impressed with the way that gun shoots right out of the box. Couldnt be happier.

Well, I went looking for a Springfield Armory Loaded 1911 in .45, didn't find one. But there was this stainless-steel Garrison. Very nice. I love this weapon. I’ve never owned a 45. Always thought be hard to shoot and kick too much. I was pleasantly surprised to find that because of the weight of the pistol, it was easy to handle the recoil and I was more accurate with it that my 9s and my 380. Looking to by more 45s.

Great price and it was available. Great finish, trigger and accuracy. Zero problems after 500 rounds.

I’m very happy with my choice of the Springfield Armory 1911 Garrison. Great shooting experience ! Very smooth shooter. Accuracy is spot on. Easy break down for cleaning. I found it a little problematic reinserting the alinement pin. All of the videos I watched, had no problem reassembling the weapon. It could be because it’s a brand new weapon. BUT…I FEEL THAT I MADE THE CORRECT DECISION FOR MY 1911!! Thank you, John Carrick

This is an heirloom piece.,high quality and stainless steel. A Beautiful, classic handgun. Walnut grips and 3 dot sights Makes this balanced beauty shoot like a dream. I have a 45 caliber, the balanced weight minimizes the recoil making it possible to stay on target.

I've only fired about 50 rounds through it and mostly I like the way it shoots. Unfortunately it has a couple of issues that I will have to sort out with Sportsman's Warehouse and/or Springfield Armory. 1st - The slide has a bind between it and the frame which I believe occasionally prevented the slide from locking open when the magazine was empty which then caused me to drop the hammer several times on an empty chamber. 2nd - The slide lock lever is very difficult to reinstall after

Owning various XD and XDM models, I purchased a preowned/mint 1911 Range Officer Essentials set. I was totally impressed with it's accuracy and handling. Considering a 1911 for carry, I ordered the Garrison from you, as I wanted stainless for carry. Again, at first range outing, I was equally impressed with handling and accuracy. As a long time "other brand" carrier, both my wife and I are totally Springfield Armory in .45 ACP.

My Wife bought me this pistol about 6 months ago. Quickly became my favorite everyday carry. It is a very accurate firearm with little recoil. Totally by far the best deal on 1911.

If you like that classic 1911 5” barrel this is the gun to have. Extremely accurate and smooth to shoot, great gun!

The pistol is very nice. The slide seems smooth and the craftsmanship is very nice. I would recommend.

I have only had it out on the range once so far. It appears to be quite accurate right out of the box and is very fun to shoot. A beautifully made gun with a good combination of features. I can't speak to it's longevity but it is fully forged stainless steel.

This is my second Springfield 1911. The first one I bought in 1977 and I'm sorry I let it go. 46 years later and I got this stainless-steel Garrison. It's truly a beautiful piece of art. I just got it today and can't wait to shoot it.

Last week I received my 9 mm garrison 1911 it’s so beautiful blue shine I took it to shooters world for shooting it was so good smooth shot I love it I shoot about 150 rounds no malfunction at all only thing is they only put one mag other than that everything is fine thanks Springfield JM
