My old eyes can no longer focus on iron sights clearly so I have been thinking red dots. I have been waiting for OSP version of XD(M) .45ACP and finally got it. Excellent firearm. It took a little bit of time to 0 in the red dot but after that, no issues at all. Because of the smaller frame and larger caliber I expected more recoil but it’s managed by a solid weighty but not cumbersome balance.

I liked this Springfield Armory.45 so much that I purchased two. I conceal carry all the time and prefer a .45. These pistols are compact enough for full conceal carry and have a double stacked magazine which means that I can have 11 rounds available. I keep one pistol in each of my vehicles and wanted the same caliber and type in each. The only downside to this Springfield Armory pistol is that it only comes with two magazines. It should come with at least three. I ordered two additional magazines.

I am very pleased with my purchase. It was shipped and received in a timely manner. I'll be taking it to the Range soon, and I'm sure I'll enjoy my shoot. Thanks again, Guns.com!

Great capacity and plenty of stopping power packed in a small firearm. Quick target Acquisition andI like the carry feel.

Have not shot the gun yet #springfieldarmory included the wrong mounting bracket for the Hex optic and still waiting. Gun looks really nice just waiting to mount the red dot and shoot it. Springfield told me they would send me the bracket as soon as they get them in. I have been waiting for three weeks…

I got this to upgrade from a M&P Shield (the base model) because it is 7+1 or 8+1. It is really nice to have 14+1 in an EDC. The sights are really well made and easy to shoot from. Absolutely fantastic addition. Feels great in my hand and smooth trigger pull. The sights take a little to get use to. But once you do it’s smooth sailing. I went with the extended mags and it feels better (I have large hands).

Extremely kick ass compact 45 I dialed in HEX optic with first clip. More fun than my Colt combat elite.I was very surprised how accurate it is with 3.8 barrel. Just installed BALDR mini lite/ green lazer head to range tomorrow.

Couldn’t find this pistol anywhere else at this price. Order was processed promptly and showed up at my local gun store ahead of schedule. Will order from here again.
