Developed together with the American legend Marine Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Cooper, the MANNLICHER SCOUT is a combination of future orientated design and innovative technical solutions. Eguipped with an integrated bipod, a light weight receiver with extended Weaver-rail, flip-up emergency sights and an extra magazine in the butt stock. The extractable bipod fits perfectly into the stock when not in use and makes it a strong fore-end. The MANNLICHER SCOUT is available in various colours and with different accessories, for example equipped with a HC-Kit allowing a higher magazine capacity. The Steyr Scout was developed after a nearly decade-long collaboration with legendary Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper (USMC R). Weighing in at 7 lb. and with an overall length of less than one meter, this lightweight and compact bolt-action rifle has become the ideal solution for versatility, durability, accuracy and reliability in the field. The Scout has an integrated bipod housed in the forearm, making for quick setup and positioning. Scopes can be mounted in multiple configurations, including the classic long-eye relief variation. The Steyr Scout also incorporates a set of backup ghost-ring sights that can be used when necessary. Other features of the Scout rifle include a two-stage magazine.

1 year agoOne of the smoothest cycling bolts I have ever worked. I've only shot a little over a dozen rounds so far, but I did cycle through one mag as fast as I could work the bolt, not once did it hang up, fail to pick up a round, or fail to extract a round. Its a well made gun. It might be time for me to hang up my young man guns and really explore the practical rifle/scout rifle concepts as my go to rifle

1 year agoThe rifle is surprisingly light, and it does kick like Field artillEry because of that. The integrated bipoD is plenty sturDy, But might be a little Tall for some people/situations. The rails are Weaver-spec and not Picattiny, so keep that in mind if yoU plan to mount accessories. It’s capable of < 1 MOA groups out of the box if you are. Trigger is two-stage witH a tiNy bit of takeup and a very crisp break. I think it’s a little overpriced, but you really Can’t find this combination of features on anything else.
