I bought this gun at the end of August, I noticed it was missing chokes and other parts that the owners manual claimed should be in the box. However after calling support and the store I'm told the gun does not come with what the manufacturer suggests such as the choke tubes, the paracord sling, the MOJO choke tubes, the IC, M, F, XFT chokes or extended. This review is about Bass Pro Shops being horrible and not the actual gun.

Coyld not be more pleased with my Stoeger! The ease of loading and unloading, the power and druability, and it performed well in the field with snow geese!

My first semi shotty. I got the black synthetic one. I did lots of research and then waited for months for it to go on sale. I use this for Trap, but might hunt with it one day. Haven't installed the recoil reducing thingy. I guess I'm used to target load recoil. After about 1000 shots, it started to have ejection problems with one brand of shells. Apparently ejection problems are fairly common, and the fix is to get Benneli ejector and spring. Very expensive to buy in Canada from Stoeger, I suggest you order from the States. I would have called for warranty repair but didn’t want to be without the gun, or have another low quality ejector and weak spring. Has been flawless since. Everyone who has tried mine, likes it.

was looking for a shotgun for waterfowl hunts...this shotgun far none met my expectations like everything about it shoots great.....but found out when I was shooting 3" shotgun shells the plastic insert between the stock broke on me I was shooting at Ptarmigans too! also found out when the gun is dirty doesn't really function has to be cleaned but the bonus is its very easy to work on!! for the Price its a great buy.

My first shotgun, so my benchmark was not set, I am making it up in regards to how shotguns should work and feel like, keep that in mind! The black metal seems easy to scratch - after putting 100 shells through it, exercising decent care, at the range, the metal is scratched in some places. Also, at the base of the heat-protecting thing on the barrel, some rust is visible already, gun one day out of the box!! Also the red dot thing is off (not precisely lined up with the barrel itself, so it feels wrong every time you sight with it... The loading port is a bit sharp and grabby, but I found it easy to adjust to that, put it down to inexperience. Gun is packing a good kick, can't they do something about that in this price range? Otherwise, it shot well and worked well, no issues there.

Bought this shotgun a year ago and the receiver will not refeed on anything other then 3 1/2 magnum shells. 2 boxs later and greasing the spot that it sticks everyone just keeps telling me to buy more shells and no one can fix my receiver.

I wanted to try the inertia driven autos, so I borrowed my dad’s Benelli SBE2 for some dove & duck hunts. I love that gun. When it came time for me to buy, it was hard to justify spending the $2k on the Benelli, so I went with the Stoeger. I’m very happy with it! I’ve got probably 200 rounds of 3-1/2” through it duck and goose hunting, and an additional thousand rounds of 2-3/4” (1-1/4 oz) dove loads. I’ve yet to have a failure! I will say that there is more recoil than with a gas operated gun, if you’re sensitive to recoil.

I’ve used it for 2 seasons now very affordable and works great! I see a lot of things talking about beneli but does anyone realize stoeger is made by beneli?

This is my number one gun for water fowl, it has never disappointed me, when by buddy is out there having Benelli click issues i am shooting my limits, what can I say supper happy with it, easy to clean and handles beautifully, I have tried every ammo in the Canadian market never had an issue, an to top it up I got the rebate sent on the mail last week.

I own this one, and I find it a good reliable shotgun. That said, you really need to know how to load and unload it, as I have had situations where I had to use a screwdriver to unjam the magazine. I feel like I should not have a situation where I have to deal with this and honestly don't know how I was able to get it in this situation. As a result, I downgraded my initial rating from 4 stars to 3 stars.

I wanted to buy an inertia shotgun and chose the M3500. Fresh out of the box it needed a good cleaning. It had alot of oil/grease on it. I use some heavier loads to brake it in as recommended. Then I switched to lighter loads. Never did it fail to cycle. I am very satisfied with this gun. It's not quite as smooth cycling as my gas driven Beretta A400, but the M3500 cost less half as much as the Beretta A400.

Bought M3500 last fall for hunting salt water Ducks and turrs. Put about 500-600 rounds through the gun last winter with no issues. Cleaned the gun as per instructions and started shooting.

I bought this gun a few years ago. works well. The action was very smooth right out of the box. it does have a couple quirks. You have to let the chamber slam shut when finished loading otherwise it will misfire. so every morning I’m out the turkeys can hear it. the site rail detached from the barrel in a couple places so i glued and taped it back and it still shoots straight. the logo at the bottom of the handle came off and had to be glued back on. I’ve put every kind of shell in there from 2 3/4” to 3.5” magnum and it shoots everything fine. patterns well. this was my first shotgun so i think it makes a good starter gun.

Wanted a cheaper semi 12 gauge that took 3.5 inch rounds. After reading reviews I picked the Stoeger. First impression was ok, but stock felt cheap and flimsy. Took it to the range and the gun does not cycle trap rounds at all, it may still need to be broke in with some heavier hunting rounds. We’ll see if it holds up to be the work horse I was expecting.

I bought this shotgun (Stoeger M3500) in Saskatchewan July 2015. I read the reviews and started out having the same problems ejecting light loads. I took the gun apart, cleaned it, removed all the machining burrs I could find, put some oil all over. I oiled generously all the moving parts in the bolt assembly and the receiver assembly. Especially on the tube where the spring is. Never had another ammo problem. I have shot this shotgun in 40*C and -40*C consistently not missing a single beat. 2 3/4 and 3 1/2 in either temp range and this gun eats it like a last meal! I do clean and lube it often, but not every single time I go out. I have shot clays, waterfowl, upland birds all over southern Alberta and into Saskatchewan. I have shot 200 rounds a year and up to 1000 rounds a year with this gun. Because this gun has swallowed A LOT of ammo, in the back of my mind I have been waiting for this gun to die so I could get another one. Last year the firing pin broke and I thought it may be time for a new one!!! Before I felt ok about springing up some hard earned bucks, I felt I owed it to the gun to see if I could put some life back into it. I made one call to Stoeger just to see how hard this would be. I purchased one during the phone call. Showed up in a week. Installed it. Shot some clays. Shot some 3 1/2. Wow. No hiccups. If I do get another shotgun, the testing period to keep up to this beast is going to cost a fortune and give me a trip to the hospital for shoulder surgery. All in all, love this gun. Do your part. Clean, polish, round off the corners and she will love you back!

This is an example of poor quality accompanied by horrible customer service. I had Purchased a new gun and upon arrival the firearm appeared to have pitting and surface rust to a part attached to the magazine tube. I emailed service at Stroger Canada but did not receive a response. Made attempt to call left a message and ,again no response. Today was my lucky day I got a hold of Andrew via phone whom let me know that it's not how did warranty works and they take no responsibility for what a brand new gun should look like. You get what you pay for including in customer care!

I bought an M3500 that ended up having cycling issue and it didn't like any shot shells I tried to use in it. I ended Sending the shotgun to the manufacturer to have its service. It was a gone for a total of 4 months and 2 weeks. Stoeger ended up having to replace the gun under the warranty. When I received my new gun, it looked as it should but the problem was as I sent the old guy in a plano hard case that they did not send back to me... what the heck stoeger ☹️

Shoots ducks, shoots turkeys, haymakers clays, really does it all! Been super fun to shoot very reliable! If you are looking to shoot clays or run light target loads or the like, please read the instructions unlike so many people on the internet and break it in with some high brass hunting loads. Didn’t cycle target loads at the start, ran 50 or so 3” hunting loads and cycles target loads like a champ now.

Fun gun that is well balanced, it seems to struggle to cycle with 2-3/4 ammo with 1-1/8oz even though it says it will be fine.
