1 year agoGreat piece to have. At the price point, its great. Trigger and slide feel crisp. Knocked off one star because the plastic disassembly tabs broke off after 2 days at the range. We complained and were given another on the spot. No issues so far but we really don't use it all that much. Also the iron sights are decent but crooked from the factory. We hit bullseyes but its still no right and needs to be replaced…

1 year agoAccurate, sturdy, easy pull, feature full, Turkish made excellence. I purchased this in January as a ccw, being a ccw didn't want to drop a huge knot, the price was perfect, after 250 rounds(multiple manufacturers and grains 115,124,147,) not a single jam or real issue other than new gun fumbles. Gave it a few months and range trips before the review, in my opinion it is the ultimate g lock substitute for concealed carry.

1 year agoFor the sale + $50 rebate price I paid it's a 5 Star budget pistol. Poor man's Glock 19? Made in Istanbul Turkey, Benelli (quality) owns Stoeger. Bought this gun on a lark. Out of box fit my xl hand. Fit n finish is very good. Good trigger, short rack and pull. Shoots everything I put in it. Hitting target straight out of the box at 30'. Good sights. No jams even when I fast fire it. My only cons: 1 magazine. Trigger safety~ I prefer thumb safety. Grip has points on backstrap to aid grip, I had to just lightly scour / round these grip points to get 100% comfy with grip.

1 year agoYou will be pleasantly surprised by the Stoeger STR-9C. This is probably the best option for a 9mm in the price range and also matches up well to my higher priced pistols. I would recommend this to anyone who wants something they can rely on that doesn’t break the bank. I was able to snag this one for $199 with a $50 Stoeger rebate and sportsman $100 discount.
