Stoeger STR-9SC Sub Compact 9mm Pistol, Black – 31750

I'm glad I purchased this, with the rebate and store discount price it was only $ 249. Upon inspection its a great buy for the money. The pistol grip fit perfectly for my hand, magazine release was effortless, and its very light. Magazine insertion ends with a satisfying " click ". Very nice. After firing this firearm it proved to be light, accurate and I had no problems with aluminum or brass ammo. It shoots as well as my Glock. For the money it's hard to beat!

After attending a really lousy gun show in CDA, I immediately made my way to Cabela’s to buy a firearm and was so happy to purchase this fine firearm at such a low price. Best piece in my lineup so a big shout out to Cabela’s and their staff for hooking me up with a fine firearm. If you want a quality and dependable firearm, choose this gun. The trigger pull is lighter than its larger versions and is very good as an EDC. No joke.

I purchased the STR-9SC about 7 weeks ago, and all I can say is wow. This pistol performs far above that price range. I mean FAR. After firing approximately 430 rounds, I can say that this pistol is one of my favorites in a considerably-sized personal collection. Easily taken down and easy to maintain, this thing is a gem. It is very concealable, and has a butter-smooth trigger action. After purchasing this firearm, I found out that Stoeger is wholly owned by Bernelli/Beretta and I am not surprised. Not at all. If Glock and Beretta had a child, it would be the STR pistol series. I am nothng less than impressed, and look forward to any future models from Stoeger. If they are anything at all like mine (STR-9SC) the US market has a lot to look forward to. Period. If you are looking for a reliable, affordable, target-accurate and well-built pistol for concealment this model should receive serious consideration. I cannot say enough about this pistol, which is one you must see/operate to believe. I am nothing less than impressed.

This is bye far the hardest slide to pull back. I really don’t find it as an go to pistol. The lady at the pistol department told me that it’s the internal spring in the grip for the reason for the hard slide. That it in fact had nothing to do with the recoil spring! Wow that was a first. Time for her to go back to school. I’m going to sell this pistol asap. Paper weight for me

The sub-compact 9mm Stoeger STR-9 SC is a real deal. With a 10+1 magazine it will do the job it was purchased for. I ama satisfied customer.

Excellent little gun..Hard to beat for the money...Bought a G19 IWB leather holster..fit perfectly in it...nice trigger and shoots straight..More positives than negatives with this little carry.

Excellent carry pistol! I also have the STR-9C, both pistols function flawlessly! They're close cousins to my Glocks.

Great little gun! I couldn’t pass up the great deal from PSA + the mail in rebate. Took to the range over the weekend and no issues! The smaller magazine was a little stiff to reload and you only get 1. Other than that no issues or malfunctions. Feels very similar to a Glock 26

Awesome pistol and very accurate for the price there is nothing better I highly recommend this pistol especially for the price.

Gun has been 100% reliable so far with about 200 rounds through it. Will buy another one. Would be great if they sold it with more that one magazine but that’s one of the reasons they can sell it so cheaply. Great gun. Highly recommended.

I have the compact and subcompact. Both are awesome ccw. You can not go wrong with any of the str. Best firearm around. I'm waiting for the str-40 availability for my next purchase

I bought the compact back in November and it has been a reliably awesome gun! I’ve put about 500 rounds through it so far! I purchased the sub compact a month ago and I believe it’s going to be just as awesome! I’ve put about 150 rounds through it so far with no issues! Both guns have had 115 and 124 FMJ and JHP through them and have fed flawlessly! I’m sure the micro compact and most definitely the STR40 are going to be purchased by years end!

To say I have been blown away by this little pistol would be an understatement because this little pistol absolutely rocks. This gun is a very high quality firearm and I have owned many this one matches names like sig and Glock, now where they don’t match is in their packaging you get a plain cardboard box with a artwork sleeve and no foam padding or any dividers inside at all you also don’t get any extras with this model either it is simply the gun and one mag. To be honest I bought this because of the price. It was just too good to pass on. I did not need nor want another 9 mm let alone a Glock clone as there seems to be a "leak in the woodwork" of clones and I already own a gGlock. These Stoeger series 9mm’s are great firearms. They are well built, and very accurate. They definitely have undersold themselves with these firearms. They could have been marketed in the $400-$500 range..

The Stoeger STR-9SC is a great sub compact to add to your collection. With the look and feel of a Glock 26 Gen 4, and rock solid performance, you can't go wrong. And with the PSA sale and a Stoeger rebate, I picked this one up for $169!

Great gun great price 1,000 rounds no failures. Wish it was cut for an optic but I will send it out for that.

Great pistol regardless of price. Nice balance ;better than I expected trigger. Perfect function so far. Easy to take down and clean. I like the standard sights and have no plans to upgrade. The only negative I can think of is by the on line description it seemed I was going to receive all three grips but didn't. Of course at the price I can't really complain.
