1 year agoIt's a great little gun. I plan to use it as an alternate carry gun when I'm dressed up. I had a problem with the magazine but called Taurus and they said they would send me a new one. I have fired about 300 round through it and it shoots very well for such a little gun. It shot CCI mini mags and Browning performance ammo but did not like Federal auto match. I guess it needs a full powder charge to cycle the slide. Going to try CCI Stingers in it next!

1 year agoFirst impression out of the box is that this mini pistol sits in my hand like no other pistol I held before. I have a big hand and the grip was perfect for stability and trigger pulling without strain. Great job. Very light and small for CC even with summer cloth. The pop up barrel is great for cleaning and the slide comes out without pulling any pins when barrel is up, Allows good cleaning with ease. Fairly accurate fixed sights at 7 yards. Has a manual safety that is easy to set at safe or … Read More

1 year agoThis is a great little pistol, but not without its limitations. However, even after acknowledging the limitations, I still have to give it 5 stars. We all know that it is limited in power dut to the .22 LR cartridge, of course. That's a given, after all. but it's chief limitation is that of malfunction clearing and reloading. having no extractor means that a malfunction drill involves manually picking the chambered round out of the popped-up barrel, then, after inserting a fresh loaded … Read More

1 year agoThis is a three year experience review. I wrote one few weeks after purchasing it (see review under moshe). I also have a pt25 which i carry daily. Pros; it is perfectly ergonomic when holding, small and light to carry concealed, sights are fairly accurate, holds 9 rounds which is a lot for such a mini pistol. Cons; very selective to ammunition, shoots three mags of federal FMJ with no jams but jams a lot with aquila. Trigger is too stiff even after taurus readjusted it to 10 lbs. Trigger guard … Read More

1 year agoThis PT-22 has been a lot of fun, shoots accurately and a proper firearm for my granddaughter to learn & gain experience.

1 year agoWorks flawlessly. Sights a difficult to aquire quickly for my Social Security certified eyes. I purchased 4 extra mags and modified 2 of them to accept 10 rounds. I’ve shot 22 shorts and longs as a single shot by using the tip-up feature

1 year agoExcellent gun! A true “pocket pistol” that is easy to carry, yet handles and shoots like a full-sized platform, thanks to its sturdy, well designed grips. Cycle CCI Mini-Mags (or comparable velocity rounds) through it, and you won’t have any feed issues. Taurus* hits it out of the park, with the PT-22 poly/stainless.

1 year agoReally like the size and feel. Once broken in had no problem with ammo from different manufacturers, however Aquila Super Extra worked the best.

1 year agoThe only reason I bought this pistol is so my wife would have a small handgun to carry in her purse but, now I feel I made a mistake. This gun is hard to cycle and not a gun for the average woman. I hope this gets better the more it's used. the trigger has a 10 lb. pull which is another drawback. The pluses are the small size but still able to grip the handle. Fairly accurate out to 15 ft. Quite well made.
