Taurus 44 Large 8.37" .44 Mag Revolver, Matte Stainless – 2-440089

I have never owned a 44 magnum before so after looking over my collection of handguns and long guns I decided to purchase the Taurus model 44 in 44 magnum. It has the 8.38 inch barrel and it is also ported up at the front sight. I truly think this is now my favorite handgun. I had looked at other 44 mag. handguns but after reading dozens and dozens of reviews on the Taurus and just about every review talked about how much they loved this gun I went ahead and purchased one. It is a truly beautiful weapon and I can't wait to shoot it. Again, this is truly my most favorite handgun.

The Taurus Model 44 is a great way to get into a big caliber revolver with a great price from Grabagun. Shot it the first time with a friend who has a Smith & Wesson 44 Mag and the Taurus kept right up with it. Looks and all.

Fit and finish is great. Very smooth shooting and accurate with special and magnum ammunition. Always a good experience purchasing from this store.

Just fired it today. I was blown away at the power. This is a cannon going off in your hands. Even though I only fired 12 rounds through her, I got her dialed in. Sites were right on the money.

Sweet gun... shoots very accurate right out of the box. Big enough to handle the .44 Mag round. Dirty Harry would be proud.

Finally got a chance to take this bad boy out. It puts holes in things. Big holes. And it doesn't care what it puts them in. That out of the way, I was very surprised by just how manageable this firearm was. It is truly a pleasure to shoot. The recoil was barely felt. A little down and to the right as far as the sights out of the box, but the adjustable rear blade was easy to sight in. It is a fun shooter!

It is really great, awesome shooting gun. My Dad, both my son and I enjoyed shooting this is a good deal and smooth action. Great price.

Took this to the range for the first time yesterday. It was dead on right out of the box. Heavy gun but doesn't kick as much as I expected it to. Would highly recommend!

Was impressed with accuracy out of the box. Shot 24 rounds and a good shot pattern at 25 yards. Was able to hit target at 50 yards but no bulls eye. Considering scope for hog hunt in texas Purchased nice pair !

The finish on the revolver is darker thaN i thought it would be, But i like it. Im glad i bought it.

This 44 is my new favorite handgun! it's big, it's heavy, but it is very accurate and because of the weight and porting it kicks about like my colt python when I shoot 38 specials in it. my son shot it and could not believe how mild it was, (240 grain jhps) i replaced the grip with a hogue and it fits my hands perfect. got a chest rig for it and some speed loaders too. too bad its out of stock, i might have to get another one!

this is one heck of a revolver, shoots great, have been looking at these for a while now, so finally pulled the trigger so to speak. would recommend this if your looking for alot of bang for your buck.
