2 years agoI received my pistol, read the material provided by Taurus, and cleaned it before taking it to the range. The pistol is relatively light weight and appears to be well made. The grip is comfortable and fits my hand well. I fired 100 rounds through it. The 158 gr factory ammo was punishing. The 125’s were mild by comparison. The gun was accurate and reliable. My only complaint is the 14 pound double action trigger pull. It gets exhausting.

1 year agoThis small package should not fool you into thinking its tame because it packs a wallop but is easy to handle. It shoots 38 spl or .357 mag and with its low profile hammer is easy to carry and conceal.

1 year agoThe weight on this thing is unbelievable. It’s actually lighter than my Taurus 856. I haven’t had an opportunity to shoot it yet so I can’t attest to the accuracy. But it is a 357magnum...

1 year agoGreat gun for the price it comes with 2 grips leave the larger one on it accurate out of the box at 7 yards 10 rounds 3 center head shouts 7 all in the center body draw back kicks like a mule lol one more thing when buying a holster iwb or owb make sure you look for the 605 polymer holster plain 605 does not fit I already made the mistake

1 year agoPurchased this for on the water travels on long trips. Poly and stainless steel aids in the corrosion factor and the firearm in accurate. Trigger smooths out after several 100 rounds. grip fit me fine. Don't know who complained about the recoil but not a problem for me.

1 year agoThe cons are the sights and grip. The pros are the price, reliable, light to carry, easy to conceal. I bought an aftermarket grip, and put loctite on the front sight. I practice with .38 special mostly. This gun has crazy power with 158 grain and 180 grain .357 rounds. Lots of fun to shoot, but I need lots of practice with it. Highly recommend GAG for your next purchase!

1 year agoThis tool conceals very well and I like to use the 38 special rounds, the 357 rounds are a bit much.

1 year agoMy first Taurus and must say I am impressed with the quality of one of their lower priced products. This 605 357 magnum is the ideal carry firearm. Shoots great and it comes with two grips.
DANA F.
1 year agoGreat pocket gun. Certainly is fun with hot loads. I have a fairly large hand and it fits firmly in it allowing me to have positive control of the firearm. Definitely can’t beat Taurus and their lifetime warranty.

1 year agoBought this one for my wife as well she uses it in the purse incase she needs to forethought the purse no jamming like a semi auto could possibly do

1 year agoYou get what you pay for. Solid construction, light weight and shoots straight. I didn’t find that the 357 kicked too much. Worth the price.

1 year agoI've fired this a couple of times, using .38's and .357 magnums. I usually set my targets at 7 yards and 10 yards. The grips are very managable whether using 38's or 357's. I fired five rounds, rapidly, reloaded and fired another five rounds rapidly. All the rounds were in the body. not bad for a 2".

1 year agoSmall enough for edc but powerful enough for stopping power. Gun is well made, very light and represents the things that taurus is known for.

1 year agoThis is an excellent firearm for my first revolver. Ammo grain size does make a difference in its performance, but practice makes perfect. Guns.com made the transaction very customer friendly. We’ll appreciated.
