I have been a Smith & Wesson guy my whole life. I also appreciate Ruger revolvers. I've been unfairly judgmental towards Taurus. I gave this revolver a try and I am BEYOND PLEASED!! There I said it. Taurus has convinced this revolver snob that they produce a fine revolver. I highly recommend this gun.

This is rocket fuel for your Magnum pistols. This Taurus has never missed a beat in firing. Forget what you might have heard about Taurus guns. This revolver can hold its own against Smith and Colt.

I just learn my father has a Taurus 357 which is over thirty years old. Good product The finish of this gun is the only negative, should have been polished more. Otherwise reliable and good quality completely describes this gun.

Great gun and shoots 357 and 38 and its accurate out of the box. I think for the money its a great gun and will use it for a back up when hunting.

this is my 2nd revolver the ist being a 22 cal. I’m really impressed with the taurus 608 357 mag, I like the look, its not as heavy as i thought it would be which i appreciate to carry for everyday carry. Now, what i don’t like about it is the difficulty in getting accessories. Cannot find a speedloader for an 8round caliber revolver, getting a new set of grips has proved to be a challenge. Also, purchasing a holster is not easy. You would think as long as the model 608 has been on the market there would be more options for accessories.

Love the 8 rounds. The trigger is better than I expected . 5 lbs in single action and off my scale for double. But I GUEss about 10 or 12

If Clint had a .357 instead of a .44 this would be it! I own the six inch model. I sold my old (1993) colt king cobra for $1,500 and bought this as well as a new cz-75 and new ruger sr-22. This is an awesome gun, exactly what I was looking for. Took it to the range and shot over 150 rounds. The feel of the grip is sturdy and comfortable. The revolver shot dead on and also got allot of complements at the range. Only draw back is it gets really dirty. Had to spend some time cleaning it up. Other than that, it’s a sturdy weapon and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a 8rd revolver.

I found it to be very accurate and easier to handle than my King Cobra thanks to the porting on the end of the barrel.

Little heavier than I thought it would be but it’s necessary for 357mag shells. Feels good in hand, good sights front/back, front sight has holes next to sight to help stabilize shooting, Stainless steel help with corrosion and a locking screw, and can shoot 38 special shells.

This is a great gun. If you like revolers this is the one to get. 8 shots minimal recoil. It's just a really nice piece

OK to Good. Would be great, but some spent shells got stuck and would not eject without a lot of work. If it continues, will trade in for a Ruger or SW. No time for stuck shells and not worth aggravation of repair.

Outstanding Revolver. Purchased one and could not be happier. The large frame soaks up the recoil very well. Great accurate shooter. Last but not Least: 8 shoot cylinder; 8 SHOTS. If you find this revolver here on this website, and actually available, BUY IT!! TAURUS knocked it out of the Park with this model. Love revolvers? You will regret not buying this one.
